I only posted this because I know that once people pay for an alpha version of the standalone a lot of them still wont understand what alpha is. The forums will be flooded with self-entitlement, and because at that stage they will have spent money on the game, they will want a perfect game with no bugs, glitches, or hackers. I also "get" the minecraft model in theory. Unfortunatly Dayz is as far from minecraft as you can get. While minecraft is really cool, the complexity of Dayz goes far beyond what minecraft does.

I think it's mainly because dayz is not an MMO.

Yeah I get it guys. There are tons of real testers on these forums. I just mean they should be selective about the alpha testers. open it up for beta because most people understand what a beta is. There are too many people that claim they bought dayz. They just don't understand the alpha process. The truth is they bought ARMA so they could get into the alpha of dayz and they dont even realize it. They really think they bought dayz and it should be fixed for them NOW.

Yes just holster/sling your weapon. You can look in the controls to see what key you have it set to.

That was the ban wave last week Manta. BE updated today and banned a shitload more people. Some are probably innocent but most are probably scripters. Only battleye knows. I dont want anyone to take this as I think BE is a good anti-cheat tool. I just know that they lift bans if they fuck up.

I would like to see more options than picking a face. It would be cool if you could pick the clothes you start with too. Im not talking about 27 different looking tactical outfits either. Ben, not all hackers just go buy another key. They come to these forums to cry about getting banned. They all say the same shit you are saying. You know we can't lift your ban. Rocket himself can't lift your ban. Its all handled by Battleye and yet you still came here to express your nerd rage. You have 7 post total and all of them were somthing negative or hostile. Im not sure what you expect to achieve by posting your ban here but if you believed everyone would flock to this thread to express their deepest regrets for a stranger you are very naive. All I see is "False Ban victim thread #137241" The reason it takes so long to get a reply is Battleye is overwhelmed by emails from hackers claiming the same thing as you. If there was a false positive they will rollback the bans for those false positives.

Not sure if trolling....... Anyway, yeah your wrong. I have a PS3. I use it for netflix and blu-rays. The ps3 cell processor would not be capable of what dayz should be. There is a reason that BF3 on console only supports a few players at a time and the maps are smaller. The tech is comparable to PC's from 2004.

Ben, No one is going to call you a hacker unless they can post proof of it. Just relax and whatever you do dont buy another copy. It took two days last time and all the wrongful bans were lifted. If you really did not hack you got nothing to worry about man. EDIT: No one is going to call you a hacker except Dev :D
