I just wanted to mention that arma2 fully supports controllers. No need for xpadder or any other 3rd party software. I use a flgiht stick for flying but my mouse/kb for everything else. You dont need xpadder for a profile either. You can set all your buttons in the game configs. xpadder is for games that don't support controllers.

I have a job. I work at Northrop-Grumman and the guys I work with play dayz with me. We are not paranoid. We do this for lols. The entire forum community gets to see that your a cheater and they get to lol too. People like you ruin the fun of dayz so I made a new game for everyone that plays dayz without cheating. If you bought arma 2 just to play dayz you will get dayz for free but if you bought arma2 to play arma 2 and then later decided to play dayz then you will have to pay.

It just depends. If they spawned a scud launcher and did like this video you would be fine outside 3-4 km. Most scripters wont go through the trouble though when they can just wipe the server.

The mod is just for testing code now. The standalone is where they are focusing their attention.

I play ARMA still. Lots of Veteran 3rd person servers for pvp still around. The fact that some disable it just proves my point. It is best left as an option to the host to decide on. If you are getting killed by snipers that camp using 3rd person to spot you then you are simply doing it wrong. Its not a FPS game. I know all the elitist cupcakes want it to be but it isn't and it never will be no matter how many tears are shed.

6/10 You didnt make fun of all the shit they copied from dayz. They didn't even change the terminology. The character log in screen: (Bandits killed) lol. (survivors) lol. The protagonist even has the same clothes as a dayz survivor. The screenshot of the zombies on their logo was photoshop from the walking dead series and zombie cosplay. Im not even trying to be a fanboi but The War Z is dick ridin. Maybe it will be good but good games usually take more than a few months to finish. EDIT: Steve you have a great voice for videos so keep doing them man, just don't buy into this heap of shit just yet.

lol what exploit? 3rd person is not an exploit. Its actually part of the engine and all of the games the engine supports for over 10 years now. Like I said, I dont care either way but BIS is not going to remove 3rd person from their games because some dayz noob that never gave a shit about their games before wants it to be a FPS game. Removing options is counter-productive to any project.

Well since Dayz and ARMA before it and OFP before that all had 3rd person or 1st person options I never cared either way. Dayz is not a FPS game so 3rd person doesnt bother me.
