Hackers, and the state of the standalone game?
Fatslug replied to KetchupOnTheDog's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5RkD885mDE try lingor island. no hackers, not as glitchy, more vehicles, more weapons. more fun. -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5RkD885mDE try this dayz mod. its not as glitchy and uses its own private hive! also mo vehicles, better terrain, and more weapons!

Hacker in Cherno.. Raining buses and cows
Fatslug replied to Zyloh (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod Gallery
wow that's just horrible..... i would HATE for this to happen to me...... =( -
Hackers are of course just the Arma2 dev team showing off the fun vehicles and weapons in their game in spite of zombie fans that came for dayz! Rocket is behind every hacker activity.... i know it. How do i know? I JUST DO

Most Friendly Helicopter Pilot Ever. Even gave me a chance for Revenge on the Sniper Bandits at Electro
Fatslug replied to kleutscher's topic in DayZ Mod Gallery
nice! when the invisibility bug was still in, my friends and i would follow people around and hinder the progress of hunters by standing in the way or taking their backpack loot ! The people that didn't kill on sight, we would throw guns and supplies in their bag! It was like watching a movie... groups of players would collide and we would follow the winners.... maybe break a leg here and there to give them some adversity to conquer. -
DayZ: Lingor Island Moments Montage (Plus Chopper Take Down #2)
Fatslug replied to Nickprovs's topic in DayZ Mod Gallery
lingor is a biatch to get running right, but if you do... its got bandit skin mechanism, tons of vehicles everywhere that dont need repair, tons of equipment everywhere..... more difficult terrain to navigate. peace -

What should our next competition be?
Fatslug replied to mattlightfoot's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
How about a GM event? spawn a bunch of crappy road cars for an apocalypse Road race. Complete with bandits acting as sand people to shoot at the cars as they race by. Of course there would need to be enough cars to give the bandits plenty of targets. Id say 25 banditos and 25 racers should be fine. The racers will have to plot out routes that allow them to refuel/repair out of zombie danger. (or just die when the run out of gas) The race does not end until all cars are destroyed. The race cars can of course all just charge the bandits ( ITS A CRAZZY WORLD) The race will claim all of your gear. The last bandit standing is awarded "shit eating grin" If the racers do not race fast enough, GMs will ram you with a URAL... or send giant bears.. whatever -
Ok im a carebear.... with bloody teeth, a stack of skulls, and mud on my feet..... And after reading the PCgamer post about "the war Z", i felt like it was kissing my ass. no quests? kay. Making the guns feel like BF3? Some one is trolling. Skill tree? .... to alleviate my Carpal tunnel? I think not. Start with a world map? lol, i'ts a hoax. Have they learned NOTHING from dayz? No in game VOIP? How will i reverse Bandit like i MEAN it? Private servers? How will i forward bandit? A russian no namer Scoffs at HDR? Wow, they must be using an awesome engine! Which brings me to their engine.... never heard of it. to be fair, i never heard of arma2's engine, but it took them "10 years" to polish that turd. It feels like "the war z" is going to be the "point bulleitin" of the GTA realm if they only put 2-3 years into it =p Whisperkick.
