It's Ironic you know, i finally reached the title of "Bean King". When i first found this game i was in awe of posters who held that title. I wanted to become so involved in the game and the forum that supports it that i'd get that title myself one day. Apparantly a couple posts ago i got it. Don't remember when, don't care. Speed and knowledge. You need to know where likely sniper spots are (every hill in Elecktro for example) and find deadzones where they cannot hit you. Then you need to sprint from deadzone to deadzone. You also need to be able to get into a dead sprint quickly when you hear a shot, binding sprint to the spacebar (instead of WW) is useful for this. Hunting the bastards down usually doesn't work. At least for me. I usually get noticed immediatly, tracked down like an animal, and killed. Who knows though, maybe you just saved somebody :)

Tent's seem to nuke whatever you put in them and appear fresh at the first restart after placing. Then you can put in and save whatever you like. Periodically, all the tents on the server seem to disappear after a restart. Usually, they are back after yet another restart. I've got about 12 tents spread across maybe 5 servers. If a tent disappears, it will be back. Trust me.

I've only had the displeasure of being able to utter a last word in a few deaths over my dayz career. One i recall i was a fresh spawn, swimming from Otmel island to the mainland (shortcut). Some DOUCHE on the beach with a hatchet literally came up to me after i got out of the water and hatchet'd me to death. I didn't even make a move to run away. All i did was type "Your fucking pathetic" and respawn. In Kamenka. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--

Bandit skins are back, but different. It's no longer a camo skin, it's just a rag over your head. Also they added an "opposite" to the bandit skin called the Hero skin. It looks a LOT cooler imo.

Especially now with them burning down our embassy's left and right. Gonna have to go back in there and kick some ass i'm afraid.

I want to run around with my Lee Enfield and stab zombies with a bayonet. Make it do 5,000 blood damage and make your target bleed terribly.

I didn't know they were even around in the army anymore. I figure you could fine a few old Russian bayonets in Chenarus though.
