Sorry if the arguement changed in the next 3 pages, i only read the first post. Anyway here's my responce. Hell No. Maybe in that cheap rip-off WarZ but never, never here in DayZ.

The first encounter it sounds like you were simply shot with an M107 sniper rifle. It does 32,000 blood damage if i'm not mistake, so yeah that'd put you right at -20,000. The rest definitely sounds like hackers xD. Are you still stuck with the infinite hourglass?

NO, IT WILL NOT. Go back and remove everything except one thing you don't mind losing. Usually tents reset after the first restart, but work fine after that. I say this from experience and much loot lost to hungry tents.

Good luck with that, i've literally gotten to the point where i yell at anyone i see telling them to leave with my gun pointed at them. Edit: If your looking for suggestions try to literally save people from bandits/zombies. I've had only one chance to do so in my entire DayZ career. A fresh spawn with a hatchet was being mauled by zombies, i tried to take them out with my sniper rifle but i was too late D:. Sorry for forgetting about our trade btw.

Did you manually install or use dayz commander/six updater? The most fool-proof method i can think of is uninstalling EVERYTHING, re-installing Arma2 and Arma 2 OA, letting them BOTH do first time setup, and then installing Dayz via SIX UPDATER. Then use commander or w/e you want.

Seriously. Not quite as addicting as Warcraft (i played back in BC) but pretty damned close. I think what i'm going to do is gather a sniper rifle, a good assault rifle, a coyote backpack, and a few tents then log off untill next patch/standalone. Sortof like a time capsule. I'll be able to get another camp up and running when i want to, and it won't get stolen while i'm logged off.

Pff i'll just go open a restaurant in New York city.

Make sure you're running Arma 2 and Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead's first time install before you install Dayz. That what gave me that problem before.

My camp has been discovered and everything stolen. I'm not doing it again. Uninstalling everything and removing this site from my bookmarks, goodbye.

The tent's have a mind of there own. If i went back tommorow my camp will probably be reset, but it's the principle of the thing. Never. Again.

All i wanted. ALL i wanted. Was a nice, secluded little camp north of Pusta on the hill surrounded by rocks. Just enough to deposit supplies and hoard. Because that's what i wanted to fucking do. I didn't want to PK, i didn't want to gather all the vehicles, i didn't want to block off buildings with barbed wire. I wanted ONE. FUCKING. CAMP. To store my stuff. ONE. FUCKING. CAMP. That would not be found, not be immediatly looted by some ASS that stumbled across it, or more likely just fucking nuked by the server. I cannot save my progress, there is no progress, there is no game. Go kill a fully equipped guy in Elecktro and you win the game. Nothing else to do. You cannot save your progress. Maybe standalone would remedy this via "underground bases", but i'm so soured on this game that i'm not going to buy it. I'll buy Black ops 2. Just to Spite all of you. I won't even play it.
