Tents will frequently re-spawn all their loot after a server restart. If you want to screw over the owner of the tent, save the tent after taking items from it. This (should) prevent it from spawning again.

Ello - Wall of text inc, So i'm running along the tree line near Prigordski heading to one of my camps, when i notice another player. It is dark out, but i can see with gamma cranked. It's a survivor armed with a hatchet. After i noticed the hatchet i assumed he wasn't a thread. He was, after all, about 30 ft away from me. I say "Hey" through my mic, and "Ello" though direct communication. I get no responce. He starts running towards me. Not sprint running mind you, just jogging up to me. I say through VOIP "Stop or your getting shot" and aim my AKS-74U at him. He doesn't stop. I fire a small burst (3-4 bullets) and he collapses on the ground. At first i thought i hadn't killed him and was going to bandage, but then i heard flies. I guess i hit him in the head. Apon inspecting his body he had Nightvision, a Rangefinder, and a radio. He had all this, but he was only armed with a hatchet. wtf? I can only assume he was doing loot runs into Cherno or something and had his gear stashed at camp. I didn't check his backpack for fear he had a friend nearby. About 20 seconds later i see "Player Derek has disconnected : Battleye Client not responding." I guess he ragequit :( Was i justified in this? He knew where i was, he had night vision. He was walking towards me with a hatchet. Perhaps he was playing Night-bandit madman? Or maybe he was just a friendly who had stashed his stuff and was searching for supplies? You tell me.

I'm not honestly sure. I don't make it my mission to kill people, and i'm always interested in these sort of debates. "Should i have killed this guy"... It's just an interesting question to ponder. Well for what it's worth he had night vision and a hacked-in radio. It's not like you can see far with gamma cranked, you can just get your bearings. I should have seen that guy 200 yards out.

I've heard of the bug but i'm not sure what causes it. Sometimes the respawn timer is like 3 days long :/. An EPI-PEN might work (when your unconcious), barring that you may want to store your shit, die, and run back.

After camping the hospital in Elecktro watching people pass by and messing with them in direct communication i decide its time to log off. But you see, i've got a problem. I've got this frag grenade i've been itching to use. So i decide to throw it into the air, and see what kinda explosion it makes. I throw it and watch it explode, then open up the main menu to log out. Right as i do that a sniper bullet whizzes by me (must be a terrible shot, i was standing up) but my finger is already on the mouse and i log out. Oops. I think i just combat logged. That sniper must be so pissed xD.

Nailed it lol. I was 14 too, once. Why did you take something rare, rarer than any item in this game (a large group of friendlys) and ruin it like that?

You can ONLY get globally banned for actually scripting/hacking in the weapons. If you find them somewhere, it's perfectly legal. Butthurt server admins may kick you, but that's just them.

Don't listen to this guy. You found them in a tent, you can do whatever you please with them. If it was something like a thermal AS-50 you'd have a moral obligation to ditch it... but go ahead and take that stuff.

No, it's not too late. In-game you'll notice your humanity going down, this is the dew's curse. Thou must bringth thy dew upon Green Mountain, once there thou must ascend thi tower, drinkth the dew, and send the curse back to the firey depths of hell from whence it came. ith. Your humanity lowering is the curse eating away at your mind. If you do not reach the mountain in time, you will become one of the infected.

Yeah this sounds about right. I frequently do this, i just don't do it with NVG's and Rangefinders equipped.

Outside of my school today i saw a rotting squirrel on the front lawn, and by rotting i mean ROTTING. I mean it's hide was split open with it's bones sticking out, all the guts were gone. Just the pelt and the bones. It's like a train wreck, it's horrible but you stop and stare anyway.

Not just shooting on sight definitely decreases your odds of survival, but you shouldn't just mindlessly kill everyone you see. Often times you can force someone to be friendly by screaming with a large assault rifle pointed at them, preferably aimed for the head. In this situation, most people reconsider and suddenly feel very outgoing and friendly.

Use it. You have no duty to dispose of that gun. Now if it was something like an AS50-TWS thermal sniper rifle, i'd say get rid of it. That gun is game-breaking, i've been on the receiving end of it before. But a regular night-vision sniper rifle? Keep it, guns like that exist in-game.

What? A Makarov SD actually does exist, although i believe it's hacked in. I had one once, pretty sweet looking pistol. As for the "What if the Makarov was actually GOOD?" thing, i like it how it is. Sure it's not very practical for bringing down a guy in a tactical vest (or a hero vest, no bleeding! :D) you need a "starter" weapon. It gets the job done and it's ammo is EVERYWHERE. Hell when i do runs into the south i just leave all my shit in my tents and bring my Makarov/hatchet. I'll find ammo along the way :)

The problem i see with that is the elimination of PVP and player interaction around the "Big" cities of the coast. If there's 4 different coasts to start from... Could lead to some awesome fighting further inland... hell maybe the coast would be safer than the interior for once.
