Uh, i'm assuming your not from america? We all have guns and plenty of ammunition. If a survivor raided my little apartment he'd find a handgun, a scoped hunting rifle, and a shotgun. He'd also find a bunch of canned food and waterbottles. He'd also-ALSO find hydrogen peroxide and other medical supplies... Hell this stuff is pretty common.

Hacking seems to have been slowly, methodically beaten down into a still functioning yet highly handicapped bloody pulp. You can still script, some people obviously do it (you'll see the occasional destroyed city), but mass killings, "The Thunder-dome", and people rampantly spawning helicopters seems to be way down. You'll still see plenty of "Battleye kick : script restriction xxx" popping up in chat, so their still trying though lol.

I'm very bored with DayZ, give me something to do. I'll record it and put it on youtube, as long as it isn't something tedious like "Go into the ocean and see how far you can swim." Fire away!

I basically need someone to shoot me with a couple of my guns and let me record the results. I can't seem to nail down a comprehensive answer on if the hero vest exists/how much damage it mitigates. In my personal experience i THINK it stops small caliber pistol rounds (you still go into shock), but i'm not sure. Let me know if your interested, i'll give you a nice m107 or something for your trouble. Edit: I will also make a youtube vid and post it here :)

I found this game from Drift0r's youtube channel. He primarily does call of duty videos. I've never owned MW3, but i loved playing Black Ops, and still play that game occasionally. It seems like this is where most of DayZ's boon population came from: Youtube videos. When DayZ "Infected" (hurr) the Call Of Duty subscribers, we got a big chunk of that audience. Now i'm not a script kiddie/griefer/bandit, but i'm sure a large chunk of the transplanted CoD audience is. So here's my round-about question: How did you find the game? I personally believe a lot of the hype came from DayZ getting into Call of Duty's youtube audience. Lemmie know whatcha think. Edit: Changed up the post a bit.
