I'd say it's glitched at the moment. I routinely kill people (99% self defense of course) and keep my hero skin. I think my record is -3980 humanity with my hero skin still intact. -

I've got the hero skin, I believe you still bleed after taking a low caliber bullet to the chest. You go into shock and bleed, but no blood loss. I remember one day i was running around as a fresh spawn (no weapon) on the big mountain at Cap Golba. Some asshole with a makorov hit me once from the beach, i went into shock and bled, but no blood loss. I even joked about it in direct chat. He then climbed up the mountain and killed me with his makorov (didn't fight back, wanted to spawn elsewhere). So there is obviously a limit to how much it will block, and the vest doesn't protect you everywhere (obviously). Any difference this makes is negligible in a firefight. -

I suppose the counter-point to this would be that most player killers don't even loot the other player's "powerups". They just do it for fun, and that's what people find immoral and aggravating. Not my view, but that's the other side of the arguement. -

Yeah xD the tent was empty. Had a few assault rifles in it but i guess the server ate it during restart... I think i'm gonna quit DayZ and go play Lingor. I've got a 50cal, i just won the game. -
