Me and the other admins enjoy playing the game as much if not more than you do. We don't go crazy and make tons of changes all the time or reset for selfish reasons. This server will never claim to be hacker/scripter free because we know that to be absolutely impossible. Though we will ask one to come in and move boats that are placed inside buildings by players when needed. Future works: side chat (without voice), team logos, fun theme days, map change weeks or weekends. These are all driven by players requests and discussions. As an admin, I spend waaay more time outside of the game vs playing the game. Either doing little maintenance things or reading up on fixes, changes, etc. or just simply observing play using that map. While inside the game, I absolutely do not use that as an advantage at all because it actually would take away from the game. Yes, we have had issues with reports of remarkable things being done by people, so we have been paying closer attention. There is no reasonable explanation for what was observed of Brian other than Navigator use. I have seen this program in use before on a computer and it is blatantly overpowered. The one that we have for Bliss is there more for easier spawn point adds/removes and to correct vehicle issues on the server. This is way better than having NOTHING at all and having to rely on script kiddies. Wraith did pass the information to me and "I" am the one who removed you from the whitelist. You are welcome to attack me for this all day, the removal will stand.

Yes, we have a steam copy of DOTA 2 we are giving away. Be the first player to hand one of our admins a can of mountain dew in the game and you will win a copy. Cheating will be checked before providing the copy. Since this is a private hive, I have checked all inventory and currently there are no mountain dews on the server. Thank you Mikewhiskey, as long as the directions were followed at http://dayz.ddz.net there should be no issue getting you in. We run the server well we think. We have added vehicles, with a good chance of damage and almost no fuel at spawn to make it harder to just hop in and go. Right now we have tweaked the server to have 3 helicopters, but will NOT spawn any more until all are gone. This makes for some interesting warfare lately. And we have added the Bliss add-ons of Wrecks and Care Packages. It is a nice mix of things in our opinion. The sidechat has been turned on since it is not being abused and allows for a friendly comradarie between groups of players. We will welcome you and others that wish for the same.

As of late, our current players have split into 3 or more teams. Those teams have been happily been warring with each other back and forth. There have been helicopter fights, all out brute sneakiness and even some awesome night combat. All said and done, the winning team has usually been offering the losing team rides back to their bodies when the fighting is done. Then they pick up the pieces and make a new plan. Come join the fun!

We have added a requirement of providing your own GUID to gain access to the server. It is just a little work on the applicant side, but tests their desire to join.

bumpity bump. Now that the upgrades are done and the bumps have been smoothed out for the most part, we have been having a blast! Now lets try capping the player limit. ;)

I have also changed the logging to only log this instead of auto-banning for it. Nik21, the latest version still auto-kicks. I never automatically update my files, I would rather do a file comparison and do it manually. There are multiple duplicates in several of the files.

US 2830 recently switched over to a private community hive with SurvivorServers. It is still 70 slots, but now we have 70+ vehicles that spawn. If you want helicopters, I have personally seen 4 while playing in one day. Cars galore, my team found and gathered 7 vehicles and left numerous others in one evening. Cars are set for HEAVY damage on spawn, so it will be RARE to see a working vehicle unless you steal it from someone. Helicopter crashes are friggin cool with smoke billowing out now and look AWESOME at night time with the flames shooting out. The community hive allows the fellow admins to share their bans across all the SurvivalServers community hive participants. It may not be perfect, but we do our best. You can also play your character on multiple servers that use this same host and are on the community hive. This server used to max out our player cap of 70 every night and would like to see that again since switching last week. So please update your DayZ Commander to reflect the new port if you enjoyed the server before. With the new Bliss server files, the server SHOULD run better that it already was. We will likely go whitelist entry very soon and automatically add everyone that has played since our switch to the private community hive. On a side note, I believe that I have figured out the player/squad info and images and may offer services for those that want the same to help offset the cost of the server a little.

Try stopping the server, adding a different password, then stopping the server, removing the password, then restart again. I had a similar thing happen.

I counted 26 server in the SurvivalServers hive last night.

My server definitely is not going anywhere any time soon. 6 hour run times and restarts between each. Active admins and I play on it daily!

I have had 5 players on, died and was back at my body location within 5 minutes and the body was gone. I have also had multiple players complaining of not being able to loot their kills. Is there any way to confirm what version bliss is actually loading somewhere?

The Rcon password is set in the configuration files. It is located in a few spots if I remember correctly, all accessible via TCAdmin.
