greetings all dayz players! looking for a good server to play on? well do we have the one for you! haha salesman voice aside there is a new server up now with the name dark realm. the server has active admins, 150 vehicles on the map, always daytime, start with m1911, map, gps, and such. we are currently accepting any donations they will be used to keep the server up and running. we will be giving donor perks once we figure out how :P so any help will be appreciated in regards to adding features into the server. thanks!

hey i'm 18 and would love a good group to play with. i have ts but i could dl mumble if need be. been playing for a few months and have a pretty good knowledge of dayz in my opinion. i am far from a pro but i do watch frankieonpcin1080P if that helps aha! contact if interested i don't have skype sorry :s

i have the same problem. i tried exactly what duckman said and still nothing, i don't want to reinstall arma 2 oa for a 3rd time.

i have been trying to play dayz and i have been experiencing tons of difficulties. i have been playing since beginning of june no problems at all. first i cant respawn after a hacker takes control of my body shooting my friend and killing my guy then hiding my body.... i didn't even get a death message so when i try to come back on later i get stuck on the set-up completed please wait screen. i wait a day when i try to play again i get an error message file too short...... blah blah blah arma2oa expected some hex number and got this hex number. i uninstall then reinstall the game now it says the cd key isn't valid. i bought the game off steam so the cd key should be legit. i don't get why this is happening to me and something has to be done about it. i ran steam as administrator checked the file integrity of arma 2 and arma 2 oa, both had a missing file of some sort. i defragged the cache files and still nothing. im really frustrated and i really need some help. i don't know why this happened now all of a sudden.

so what am i supposed to do?

i was playing last night with a friend on us 2136 dallas when a hacker took control of my character killing my friend and i guess killing my character afterwards cuz i droppeddown on the floor but i didn't receive a death message. i see my charcters body going into the ground as if someone hid my body. i tried to hit respawn but nothing happened. i try to sign in this morning and i get stuck on the setup completed, please wait screen. i stayed on it for about 10 mins and nothing. tried hitting the respawn button and nothing. tried entering a new server and nothing. even after i hit respawn and go into a new server i am not prompted to choose if i want to be male or female. every server i tried does that. i need a character reset bad someone help me please. my name on day is (friendly!)Ryan if that means anything :s

A hacker by the name of :GB: Donald. it started at 11:30PM ET till 11:40PM ET, driving back from Stary sobor with a friend, we came across said hacker spawning vehicles. we had killed him as he got out of his car, while looting his body he respawned back at his body somewhere outside of elektro. my buddy had killed him again and we drove off in our bus. my buddy picked me up in elektro and as we were driving along the south shore going east he respawned inside a new vehicle attempting to kill us again ramming into our bus making my friend start bleeding, we ended up killing him again but as we were driving off he destroyed our bus when he wasn't around us! the bus broke down and caught fire, we lost all of our stuff and he killed my friend afterwards when he wasn't even around us. fortunately for us my friend recorded this things with fraps and if need be we can provide video evidence that he was hacking. justice needs to be served here. thanks for your time Ryan

ok so if i download day z commander this problem should go away? just a simple install or is there anything special that needs to be done

would uninstalling six updater/launcher and deleting all the day z files on my computer then reinstalling everything help at all?
