"HEY I'M A BANDIT OVER HERE, DON'T MIND ME I'M JUST GOING TO SHOOT YOU" Seriously? If you're going to hunt players for food/gear/meds/sport, you -want- them to not be aware of your presence. Plus, going AFK in a survival game is pretty conducive to your downfall, it's their own fault for being easy targets. Edit: I preferred the first video, to be honest. Those were some pretty smooth takedowns. :p

I don't think I'd hunt someone for their bandages since they spawn in common loot piles, but morphine? If I was hurting for it and didn't want to head to a hotspot, why not shoot a guy running down the coast for the morphine? I'm not particularly aggressive towards players, but if I needed something enough, I'd blast another survivor for morphine or food if it was last resort urgency.

Has anyone suggested here to remove morphine and painkillers from new characters and have them spawn with just a makarov/ammo and a few bandages? It looks like there's an argument here over the wrong topic. If anything, it's not "waaah game's too hard for me change it" it's rebalancing the new character loadouts so that they're not made a target for medical supplies and the like. Maybe I'm missing something, maybe not.

But it doesn't detect images and pixel colors. It's just a macro to spam the enter key. C'mon now. (I tend to just tap the enter key anyways when I want to get into a server that's full, doesn't bother me.)

I'd add that Antialiasing is a huge performance eater if you're not geared for it, keep that off. Anisotropic Filtering on the other hand is arguable. If you're hurting for performance and don't care about image quality, get rid of that as well. It's not nearly as much of a performance hog though, in my experience. (Also, mouse smoothing set to 1? I dunno about all that. It's down to preference, I think. I prefer it off.) -
ArmA 2: CO in "Top Seller" list

Buy a new computer to play the games that are coming out now as well. ;~; It's nice being able to run things when they come out instead of waiting down the line when you upgrade in a year or two to play it. -
ARMA2:CO is Operation Arrowhead + ARMA2. ;~; Though if you bought it on Steam, you should have an option to run Combined Operations (when you right-click OA), but you have to install ARMA2 and run it once before that will work.

What's so high about the system requirements? You could run it pretty decently on a $600 PC' date=' by today's standards. Hell, my previous PC could run the game [i']decently, and it was a dual-core AMD CPU at 3.0Ghz with a NVidia 9800GT. It may have chugged a bit in late-game Warfare matches, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The upper end of 20-30FPS is a nice sweet spot to aim for, playability wise, and if you can't hit that, might as well pony up on a new PC and build it yourself for cheaper than anything purely store-bought. But I'm glad that ARMA2/OA is getting attention, even if it's just "temporary", there will be those intrigued by the game after they purchase to try out the other gamemodes/campaign and they might enjoy it!
