hoenstly so long as i don't get what i got for Ghost REcon Future soldier. Pre-ordered. went to pick it up. Delayed for 3 weeks. Went to pick it up after the 3 weeks. delayed for another 2 weeks. finally got it 5 weeks after stated release date. Begin playing to find that my PC copy has XBOX controller button options in various parts of multiplayer and it's buggey as shit also hate the fact the game takes a COD approach in that a local player host the match A Full multiplayer match can range from 100's of Host migration to a match where everyone just man's up and takes the shit their dealt with the latter being very very very rare. Fondest memory of the game? Playing engineer, toss a sensor nade, oh look 3 guys running in a nice line at up, pop round the corner and mow all 3 down "HOST MIGRATION IN PROGRESS" Comes up... Fucking pussies Now yes i know DayZ won't have the whole HOST Migration crap but what im saying is, i will never buy another UBISOFT Game again because of at first, DRM, i got over that thanks to pirates making auto-save work, and now not finishing a game when it's spost to be finished by which is deemed by the company itself, with no excuses. Please i would rather a finished product that has minor bugs/issues than something that isn't fully there.

Quoted from : http://www.dayzcommander.com/faq "How do the server times work, and why are they sometimes wrong? DayZ servers don't provide this information directly, but server admins often place the current UTC offset in the server name. DayZ Commander converts this to a more readible time and allows you to filter and sort on it. This also means, if the server name displays the wrong offset, the time will not be accurate in Commander."

if you actually watched it, his mouse just went skitz right into the sky, like it was an over-adjustment, could have been a hack most-likely, but im not ruling out over-correction -

Solution to the Problems, Make it Instanced for that house only and only for the player who created the instanced environment and those he invites in only, other players can not invite. But what about other players using same house? that's the idea of instancing it, and if 2 groups of players on the same server log in really close together and start leaving, at the same time, then well maybe force one to a nearby instance-able house for the duration of that server session when the server goes, hmmm someone else is also using that house... what to do... Give the player an option on the other side of the map? Maybe when ever Players log in inside their little basement, it places them randomly on the map away from other players and major areas? Another idea would be that if players would approach a basement that is loaned out to another player it would let them into their own instance of their basement, but then they leave place them randomly somewhere else where one is available. but this leads to their being Static locations where players can emerge or travel to/from making camping snipers more likely to camp these places. but that's a game play tactic not a integration problem. this could also lead to instance-able garages as well. im sure there are other ideas to help solve these issues, but every idea brings about problems and the workarounds bring their own.

i also posted a similar idea here: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/51776-suggestion-an-idea-to-solving-losing-items-on-character/ I will read this and the other post linked by dev0 and add the main points to mine to try collate the idea into one seamless idea that we can all agree on, and of course link back to these original post for reference -
cbf reading all the post but point is, servers can currently only handle 50-60 players at one time, they cost anywhere between $1000-3000 per month to run and the current ARMA II game does not support such an innovation also map size would be a major issue. Seriously stop asking for stupid shit like this when there are more important things such as hackers, item duping, loss of items on logout due to the servers not updating the Main DayZ server with your inventory. go cry moar for anti-server hoping, it's a legit tactic, don't bitch that you can't do it so no one can because you have a shit net connection or shit hardware and that in general load times are slow, if people have the patience to server hop then they deserve the shit they get for being so patient, sorry you don't have the same patience. Suggestion: An idea to solving losing items on character
Honjura posted a topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
INTRODUCTION Ok so i have no idea how a characters info is saved to the DayZ server, what process it goes through if it's every so often, etc. so i came to a conclusion that, regardless of how it works at present, i'd pitch this idea. Also sorry to the forum mods if it's already been suggested i tried looking for a similar topic with no luck at all. the main reason for me posting this idea is due to item loss from not syncing properlly to the main Dayz Server that stores Character items etc. IDEA Have an option or maybe even command to force update a characters current inventory and backpack status/items to the DayZ Main server. Now i understand your' all gonna go, this helps people Dupe shit, well here's the other part of it, also force this update when logging off a server, i mean im sure the server keeps track of what people have in their pockets and backpack 99% of the time, i have no idea, Maybe remove the player from the physical Game world and do a check on what they are carrying, write that to a file and force send this to the DayZ Main server where all our character shit is kept. WAYS TO KEEP IT FROM BEING ABUSED Now also people could spam that command to force update their inventory, etc, give it a C/D timer registered to the local server and not allow that player to force update that info again until say 30 min later and only 30 min after server log in, considering how long it takes to get in-game already this should discourage people to even bother swapping servers because the second method of force updating on log-off is in place preventing that method of duping. That only leaves the accidental Duping of items due to server lag or slowness, or w/e it is that causes it when picking up items or moving them from inv to a storage. FEEDBACK Ill take both Negative and Positive Feedback so please feel free to poke for holes and i can add to the idea more based on community feedback.
