It'll require a good amount of secrecy and what not. Such as doing all the final steps, such as planning the server, place, time, etc. in something like Steam or Skype. To make sure no one gets you that way.

I'll admit, hackers are a problem we cannot fix. I've ranted on them before why we can't do anything yet. As for the social control and them at an advantage? Yea. They do. For now. Luckily, there are consequences for murder coming to the game. Not penalties, consequences. To even out at least some of it. But a good portion -will- require people to band together for a common cause.

I made a post in the Survivor HQ asking if any clans would help in a hypothetical fashion. We'll see if this could be a possible thing.

I'm for this if you can pull it off. Get a large group of players, a clan or two from Survivor HQ, and have them police the area.

Here's the thing. This game isn't your conventional L4D or CoD shoot 'em up kiddie land adventure game. We all know full well that Rocket leaves this game in our hands. He literally doesn't give two shits about what we, as the players, do. It is -our- power to make the rules. There is no clean cut "You cannot do this" sort of manifesto going on, it's what you and everyone else makes of it. So if a player goes about shooting other unarmed players, he has every right to do that. Just as much as a player full of med supplies can go heal and help others. Now I personally dislike shooting unarmed players, it's properly f'ed up in my mind, but I don't stop others from doing that, because I have no right to. If you want to stop them, make the effort yourself, don't bitch about it on the forums. On that, I would also like to bring up the fact that there -are- other servers in this game if you find your play experience not fun on it, no one's stopping you. As for those going "I do it for the lols, stop QQing, l2p fgt" and those going "Murderers and Bandits are monsters, kill them all!" you're both idiots to think that I, a player, would care for fuck all that you are stroking your ego and vengeance on here. I also think a lot of the posts here are full of idiotic woes and brags of people who really just need to realize that this is a game where we make the rules, not the dev.

I agree, more bikes, please. Bikes aren't a trouble, rarity, or coveted item. As for vehicles? I'm actually an advocate for less. I see vehicles as a sort of bad mess waiting to happen. When you get a vehicle, you have no reason to stealth anymore, so you just run and loot, getting more and more careless with your play style until you finally die. And then what? You're stuck with that careless play style with nothing to run back to, so you die. A lot. Not to mention, I'd like to NOT see 10+ some cars driving by on the road in a supposed barren wasteland of a post-apocalyptic setting.

They have about a .2% drop rate. Rocket intends to increase their spawn rate as he fleshes out infection.

I've yet to see spawned civilian clothing, so you're looking at someone who found a ghillie/camo suit.

I doubt they'll get far, as they'll need more of Rocket's code to continue patching from henceforth, and we've all seen how quickly Rocket learns from that kind of stuff. As for the topic: Apparently it's been turned from "hotfix" to full blown patch. This was announced on the Machina LiveStream interview he was on. I wish he would have told us earlier, but oh well.

Surprisingly, I tried the "Male as Female" thing to test it out, I was invited to groups more times than not and not shot at once. And I thought you had to have at least a busty female model to get that attention. On subject of the question; I play male with aviators and mustache.

You've been spawned far off the map. Best thing you can do is just sit and wait to die of hunger or dehydration. You can quicken it up by running straight on. Sorry to break it that way.

Gotta' admit. We've been cruising a Bus for about a week, I was finally taken down by me being careless. Then we lost the bus. It's felt amazing going back to being a Survivor with nothing.
