Redeeming yourself as a bandit is not easy as it seems to be
Lennsik replied to gamerer's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Become a whitelist medic? That should help, my friend. -
Hey, this is Justin. It's no problem, man. I was fornicating with your mother after you killed me. I think we're even now, right? Anyway, hit me up and we'll have a few brewskies, bro.

The character you play is a fruit cake
Lennsik replied to random_stuff's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I think it's somewhere in Core Temp, actually. Seeing as when you hit 36 C, which I think is the lowest temp, you're at 96 F. Which is 2 degrees down, which means you're going to be shaking suddenly and your body will think it's sick. -

Your temperature in the game is based on body temperature, not outside temperature. Basic biology dictates that the human body's temperature is VERY picky on just how many degrees you can change from 98.6 F. -

I was hoping for a .jpg of a Fruitcake with a baseball cap. No beans for you and a giant fuck you, too. >:( -
Should 1 Hit Kill Sniper rifles be removed from DayZ.
Lennsik replied to zecele's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Your post gave me cancer. Onto the topic: I think Snipers should stay as they are. The only reasont hey're "more common" is because hacker and dupers, who are actively being tracked down by BattlEye now that it promised to kick it up a notch.- 197 replies

UPDATED DAILY: I'm Issuing a Warning to Any Snipers
Lennsik replied to ZombieSpecialist's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Man, I never thought you could get this hard at Chaotic Good. -
There's a possible system that Rocket was interested in to allow you to recognize previous faces in the game. Possibly allow you to remember the bastard who shot you? I myself would decide on the moment whether I was equipped enough and/or willing and angry enough to enact revenge.

While I haven't experienced it, there seems to be a sudden burst of script kicking errors going about. It's known that BattlEye has revved up its efforts to ban more hackers effectively, but could possibly be they tripped a wire somewhere tonight? Discuss. (And no, I don't think BattlEye sucks or is worthless. Sorry QQers, your "witty" remarks followed by "lol" in horrible grammar aren't really needed here. But hey, you can post if you want.)

Why are so few servers showing up?

A private is against the rules, ain't it? I can't remember.

My case for why the humanity mechanic could never be working as intended(in accordance to what Rocket wants as well)
Lennsik replied to Notlim's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I don't think anything game developers project turn out to happen. We've watched entire mechanics and dynamics be changed by the player base in multiple games. Humanity will server a purpose, whether intended or not. -
Nope. Just hackers.

And I'm gonna' give Medical Supplies and help groups. Oooooh, aren't I a bad boy?

It appears I have acquired myself a Ghilie suit and DMR in this night's run, so I can also provide cover for ya'll during the meeting :)

1.7.2.5 Graphical Glitches Still There
Lennsik replied to seemingepic's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
My god, you're that kind of stupid. Seriously, my friend, go read up on how this works, because your method doesn't fit anywhere I see. At all. -

Let's also not forget it's Early/Mid-August. School and College is kicking back in for a lot of the community, meaning there will be a significant drop at points. -
1.7.2.5 Graphical Glitches Still There
Lennsik replied to seemingepic's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I don't think you know how scripting and patching works in a game, sir. Especially for a mod like Day Z. If Rocket releases Patch A that gives Item A but Item A is broken, he'll have to release Patch B that fixes Item A. And then when making Patch C he'll have to add Work Around A that will help implement Item B so it won't break Item A. And if Item B is broken, he'll have to add Work Around B in Patch D for Item A and B to fix Item B. Instead of releasing Patch A, letting it break, work on Patch B, letting it break, then releasing Patch C which will fix Patch A and B and its Items. See where I'm getting at? -
1.7.2.5 screen tearing has not gone away, see video inside for confirmation
Lennsik replied to TractorFiend's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
It's an ongoing fix that has yet to be confirmed. Keep in mind we are the testers of this Alpha staged mod, so we will sometimes get faulty patches. Just report them in the appropriate area so the process of fixing it can go smooth. -
1.7.2.5 Graphical Glitches Still There
Lennsik replied to seemingepic's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
No, that'd be the "The Dev shot himself in the head" process. Doing that would mean he'd have to compile a script over a previous fix of a previous item and so and so forth. It's better to drop everything there and then make one long compiled fix. It's shorter than the impossibly short, but frequent, fixes that would actually elongate the development time by two fold. -

Lennsik replied to seemingepic's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Seriously, how many of your sarcastic twats are there? Do you all just sort of collaborate here on some other medium and then strike all at once during the day? It's the bloody rush hour of dumb asses here. As for your post, I'll begrudgingly state that Rocket has yet to confirm if this patch works entirely. Do your homework and read up on his post on the development of this. -
It's the fact that Rocket has explicitly stated that he won't be releasing this patch onto the Six Launcher and other major mirrors/sites because he wants to make sure this patch actually works. He's already casted doubt on it, therefore, someone getting butt hurt on pretty much what is a Beta of a patch for and Alpha is what makes it a problem for him. Ergo: This patch isn't confirmed.

I may work on adding a custom face model to my character with a Derpy Cutie Mark on it.

To the moderator who deleted my thread
Lennsik replied to taylor422's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I'm pretty sure that if the thread was deleted, the link or mention of it is known to cause problems in Day Z and/or be a bannable offense.
