i try to avoid other players, though i will usualy point my gun off to one side or lower it , had a close call the other day though i was leavign a barn i looted when someone asks over voice that i not shoot, i look around and hes about 30m away from me in the tall grass, i lowerd my gun and backed away as he had the drop on me easy ,i looked behind me at the zombies movign about behind me and when i looked back he was gone so i booted it out of there -
Ability to make wooden crossbow bolts with the hatchet

make it so you need empty cans as well as being in the woods to make em, a steel soup can could be cut to make a basic broad head, also making bolts would be better off as a task for a knife -
the sks would not be rare its quite common as a hunting rifle despite its origins , in combat it would act as a semi only akm with 10 rounds unless it was modified to take ak mags, would make a good weapon to spawn in deer stands have it take up most of the assault rifles chance to spawn, but not all of it

an idea to help with the water problem is to make the canteen multi use,letting us drink 3 times before its empty and needs a refill

i ignore or use pepsi to top up my water if i find them, i carry 2 water botles at all times -
i would like to see more basic weapons in game leavign millitary gear as rare items to be looted at bases, i think the tos 34 shotgun would be a good one to add, maybe as a starting long arm or as a verry common loot item ,it is a 2 shot overunder style shotgun another i think would fit the game is the sks carbine it could replace the akm and ak74 rifles as deer stand loot(the sks is a popular gun for hunting deer), fires the same ammo as the akm but in 10 round striper clips in an internal mag, a upgraded version that spawns less often could be a sks modified to take akm mags"is posible irl" CZ550 without scope, make the scoped version much more rare

i got a flashlight idea how about a headlamp? i got one at home its a small led light with a headstrap, could take up the nvg slot and make you a nice sniper target if your not carfull ohh and let us use flares as matches

you could have the kill penalty roll over as it is, say they only last a week from the time that you killed that person, how many people do you kill in the run of a week? hell even legit bandits probaby never get more than 20 or so kills unless they do it for fun -
a rain coat wold only take up 1 slot to, many raincoats are designed to fold up into small packages

yeh i had a hopper folow me pretty good lost his los on a hill and went right 300or 400m and he still found me, he was a good 400m or more behind me -
yeh a zip tie can cut you up a bit if you force it,

Improvised Explosives

what about traps? got a frag gren and some scrap metal? make a trip wire trap to watch the door as you loot (disarmable by anyone ) smoke grenade ? same thing now you got a way to distract zeds before they can eat you, same deal for flares set them up to provide warning incase someone sneeks up on you at night, hell get a old car alarm and a tripwire and set it up in in downtown cherno and find a good vantage point and watch the show :) -
This is why I love banditry.

zombies should stop chaseing you if you get more than 400mor so away and should not respawn so fast. wonder if they could be scripted to randomly stumble(10%chance for every 60 sec of running?) to give you a chance to put some distance betwen you and them, as another idea or a addon to the above make it so zombies can stumble on steep slopes and if they bump into things like trees ,baracades,rubble,or wrecked cars if zombies didnt instanly run at every gun shot it might be intresting, say every zombie in the sound range of the gun walks to the area it heard the shot insted of sprinting ,could lead to a fun game of cat and mouse ,boosted zombie numbers would make these ideas realy fun -

the game needs a friend system, say i meet someone and we work together i could add him to my list and we can both see each others name above our heads atleast at closer ranges 50m 80m? a enemy system could be good as well say someoen kills you you get the option to put them on the list gives them a red name tag or icon above there head 20 to 50m range maybe? so you need to get closer(disapears if they go prone or kneel maybe) another idea is that anyone your friend gets a green or blue arm band , would be handy for telling a friend at a distance to -
Silent/Stealth Weapons & Gear

a silenced makarov would be nice, could be more common than the more powerfull silenced weapons and use easy to find ammo, a good gun for zombie hunting as you can get close for headshots while remaning a bad gun for killing players with -

as it is a i find the tree stands them selves more of a threat then the zombies guarding it, broke my legs on one the other day ,its annoying and it needs to be fixed

slow zombies would work if the players had stamina that drops quickly when they run, the big problems with fast ones in this game is that they zigzag and take indirect routes to get you, they should rush at you in a straight line or as straight a line as they can manage

i would like players names to appear over there head at close range10 to 20/30? meters, the ability to form groups and a ident icon over the heads of those in your group

they could treat the reload for a crossbow like a bolt action rifle it can have mag"quick quiver on the bow like sugested above" and a slow cocking animation then you can have your ammo in 3 shot lots
