    Learn a lesson, Bandits.

Killed a tent? GJ. Did the tent shoot back much? I've heard they can be real tough to kill.

PvP tips we all should know.

I prefer my robbery victims to be dead first. Makes taking their main weapon easier.

PvP tips we all should know.

Borrowing from schlock mercenary, the sevent maxims of maximally effective mercenaries applies here I think 1. Pillage, then burn. 4. Close air support covereth a multitude of sins. 5. Close air support and friendly fire should be easier to tell apart. 6. If violence wasn’t your last resort, you failed to resort to enough of it. 9. Never turn your back on an enemy. 11. Everything is air-droppable at least once. 12. A soft answer turneth away wrath. Once wrath is looking the other way, shoot it in the head. 13. Do unto others. 15. Only you can prevent friendly fire. 16. Your name is in the mouth of others: be sure it has teeth. 17. The longer everything goes according to plan, the bigger the impending disaster. 18. If the officers are leading from in front, watch out for an attack from the rear. 20. If you're not willing to shell your own position, you're not willing to win. 21. Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Take his fish away and tell him he's lucky just to be alive, and he'll figure out how to catch another one for you to take tomorrow. 22. If you can see the whites of their eyes, somebody's done something wrong. 24. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from a big gun. 27. Don't be afraid to be the first to resort to violence. 29. The enemy of my enemy is my enemy's enemy. No more. No less. 30. A little trust goes a long way. The less you use, the further you'll go. 34. If you’re leaving scorch-marks, you need a bigger gun. 35. That which does not kill you has made a tactical error. 36. When the going gets tough, the tough call for close air support. 37. There is no 'overkill.' There is only 'open fire' and 'I need to reload.' http://www.schlockmercenary.com/ - if you like the above, go read it.

I will trade you 8 cooked meat. It's real good, cooked it meself.
  10. Yup, setting a great example dude. If someone gets me, they get me - fair play to 'em (as long as they are not server hopping the rax or some other lame shit) Hell, I counted a few of my first deaths as suicides - especially the one where I fired an FNAL at a zombie in Stary at night - definite suicide!

    Rate my load out!

I ditched my 1911 for a revolver cos the wheel gun has better iron sights. Now the pistols are Merced, headshots more important.

    solo bandit tactics

Nice topic. Here is one scenario I could use advice from. You spot a solo player, and drop him. how long do you leave to watch the area before running down to loot him? I am always worried he may have a mate. " I think his mate saw me... BANG yes. Yes he did."

    Taking down choppers?

Me and my buddy were covering Stary while out team raided when a huey showed up. Unloaded with his AS50 and my 107. Hits recorded, it was flying badly when we lost visual in the mist. Saw a player death 10 seconds later. US188 NY84 yesterday. Gonna chalk that up as a probable.
  14. I am pretty sure banditry is an intended part of the game. I just think of survivors as mobile office buildings with 30 loot spots all convienintly in one place :)

Into the mind of a bandit.

OK, so I would say I have become a bandit now, so let me show you the inside of my mind. I am in a crew of about 7, usually 3 of us on at any time. Some I knew IRL prior to the game. My character has been alive for 13 days, and I have 3 murders. Two of them were justified (1st guy was stealing shit from a crashed ATV I was guarding, second guy was trying to kill my mate in a wrecked chopper raid) and one was plain unlucky - ran up past my sniper spot with a zombie train, he had good gear so I dropped him on general princible. You will not get shot if you are at super long range, and if you do nothing stupid (like the 3 guys exiting NWAF who all decided to stop and drink at a pond at the same time). Staying away from Stary and NWAF may be a good idea too. But then again, my team killed a guy running in the woods the other day in the middle of nowhere, so I guess there is no safe place now. See you on the field.
