I am beginning to tire of the stench of the ocean, the salt mixed with the smell of rotting corpses nearly drove me to empty my stomach. Happening along a small town, I quietly sneak into the nearest building in search of supplies. I dart around the corner and almost shit myself when I see someone lying prone in the corner. Poor bastard must have been caught in a firefight with the other body next to him. Peeling away the makarov and a lee enfield I begin to make my escape, I stow my rifle realising he had emptied all the ammunition. After a few steps outside I hear a noise and spin around to see a bus roll up beside me. Oh yea transportation! i thought, the driver was honking joyously at me, almost as if to ask me to join up with him. Not having any ammo in my rifle I accept his offer and go around the front of the bus in order to hop in. that is when he runs me over, breaking my leg in the process. "WHY?" I ask as the driver calmly exits the vehicle and puts me out of my misery. This act hardens my heart as I spawn in and make a break for the balota airfield. I sprint in and utter a sigh of relief when I see a remmington poking up through the gravel. "Only 8 rounds but I guess it will have to do" I mutter during my trip back across the airstrip. Sneaking around the bushes my heart leaps as a see the silhouette of a bus in the distance trying to turn around. "Im gunna show you fuckers!" I think as I stealthily close the gap. Just as I get within 10 metres, he pulls out and begins the speed away. One shot pops the tire and another breaks the glas near the drivers face. "Shit shit what the hell?!" i hear as 5 men jump out of the bus and begin to scramble for cover in the bushes. "like shooting fish in a barrel" i think to myself as I execute two of them lying prone one metre away from me and pop shots at the other fleeing victims. I suddenly hear the crack of an m16 from one of the survivors. Quickly i duck behind a tree and lean out the left side for a quick shot hitting him in the leg before I pop around the right side of the tree dodging his panicked firing in order to finish him off. The quick position switch worked like a charm as I line up his forehead "click click" ... out of ammo, "crap" I thought as the muzzle of the m16 swings over and riddles me with bullets. I lay down my head and smile as my last breath exits me. "got you assholes" ------------------ Great story dude. You write well ;-)

It's gonna be hard work topping this for the next episode...

Yeah, I call bullshit on that. Solo scavenging is an easy way to survive. Stalking and murdering another player, and living long enough to loot them is harder, and higher risk. Like I keep saying, when you a tent it does not shoot back.

All right, fair play. I did not know the whole story. I am just saying though. It seems like every time someone gets shot "oh it must be teh hax". Just a wider comment really. Apologies if I caused offence.

Last night I spawned fresh. I got an Enfield. I spent 10 mins stalking a player with a crossbow and a macaroni. Tracked him from the factory to polana. Engaged him in the town, but no hits. He ran, I flanked but lost him. The most intense 5 mins of the game so far. Hunting players takes balls. It's not like that crashed chopper of that tent or that farm barn are gonna shoot back at you. Banditry takes balls. I found the guy later, dead in town - the walkers got him. I claim the assist, lol. Got knife, canteen, makarov and some other bits. Died at electro 20 mins later.

So was sniping Stary today when I got killed. Think it was a bullet in the back of the head. Ah well, live by the sword, right? Lost an AS50, gillie, L85, nvg, rangefinder, gps, etc. good luck to whoever killed me, hope you enjoy the spoils. Respawn, swim to stalininsky island. Hacker murders everyone on the server. Makes me wonder if a hacker killed me the first time. I will never know. You know what? I needed that. Now I am gonna get an axe and go hunt snipers at cherno and electro. Creep up behind them and whisper... "lemme axe you a question" TL:DR Got killed, got hacked, did not care.

1st trip to dobry was fail, picked off by a sniper as I approached from the north. Need a cunning new plan.

Yeah, I should clarify the 20 days. I play long weekend sessions (7 hours) and a few evenings. I played in a group, which makes surviving easier. I think my total alive time would be about 30-35 hours, as a guess. During my time alive my crimes were: Murdered 3 people (although 2 were justifiable homicide) Attempted murder on 4 additional people (most combat logged) Accessory to murder on 4more bodies (as a spotter or supporting fire) Probable kill on a Huey Items thieves from bodies or tents 2x M24 DMR M4 SD GPS NV I will report back on my axe-cellent adventures.

Saw a hacker/skiddie kill a server today. Everyone on it insta dead. It was a GB server. It's a conundrum. Servers with no players are boring. Servers that are full have the above bull shit. Hey diddly dee, an alpha testers life for me! :)

So far my thoughts for locations to try this are: - south of Stary as a counter sniper - west of electro, looking at dobry hill, as a counter sniper Any advice on reaching this goal? How would you assault it? Counter sniper teams Huey insertion of kill team Outriders on atvs approach with the Huey to mop up the perimeter Would be cool as fuck to see this done!

I think it's a great idea, but it comes with a price. That price is the most racist bigoted trash that some people feel they have to write. Its a shame but it is what it is. Forums are moderated, but you cannot moderate notes... Can you? If it could be moderated against racism and bigotry, then he'll yeah, it would be great.
