I don't really follow Reddit or the forums here, i just drop in every now and again after a patch. So this is just an average players opinion on all this. When i saw the derp muffins and Mzly Bzly thing for the first time in game after i updated i did cringe. Meme jokes and soda named after a call of duty quickscoper are not things i would expect to find in this game/mod. I'm not angry or upset, i just would prefer that sort of thing not to be in the game in future. I'm sure the people involved worked very hard and deserved some recognition; and by the sounds of it, most of them didn't ask for it anyway. But that doesn't make it any more appropriate

So i've got a backup of 1.7.2.3 that i'm using so that i can get into the Arma 2 editor while DayZ is enabled. It allows me to use DayZ assets in the editor, but there aren't as many of the usual objects/units etc as when I use the editor normally with DayZ disabled. Is this normal, or have i messed up somewhere? Also, did anyone ever work out how to modify the spawns when opening the SP mission in the editor? If not, is it possible to just use the DayZ version of Chernarus in the editor? -
I play on your server and was in when this happened. It's a shame because i've been playing on it regularly for a while now and never had any problems. Are you going to quit?

US 863 - Hacks [Logs included]

Can i ask you a quick question; this exact thunderdome hack happened to me while i was playing on a different server today, i logged out before i was killed in the 'thunderdome' on the NW airfield. Server has been down since. What happens to the server when something like this happens? Is it a lot of work to get it up and running again? I enjoy playing on the server so i hope the host doesn't just quit. I expect my tents and ATV will be gone as well?
