Ok, a new type of wasteland bug which I haven't seen before. Earlier in the day it the game randomly spawned me at the coast (I have played since the client update). I logged on to server DE 709 to meet up with a friend (who also random spawned 8km away :S), as soon as I logged the game killed me. After respawning in the wasteland I logged off to do other things. I came back a little later and have a fresh spawn at the coast. The odd thing is that I have the stats in the debug window of my old character, plus the same level of thirst and hunger. Oddly enough, I also spawned without my backpack and any gear what so ever. So it seems to me that I still have my old character but the loot assets don't seem to be loading correctly. I'm holding out hope here that I may be able to get my gear back with this character. I know you should never get too attached to your loot. However, this time it's really hacked me off (those damn NVs took an age to farm). Anyone have any thoughts on a fix?
