Honestly if you want hardware advice go to Overclock.net or TomsHardware. ARMA II doesn't require some sort of unique machine setup to run. A quick read through of that build is that it is average. A little overpriced. Browse Newegg.com and price those parts yourself and do the math. I can tell you if I was building an Intel Rig, I wouldn't pick that mobo. If you ever want to upgrade the motherboard is very important. Pick something a little more robust.

I have survived very long periods of itme by just avoiding contact. It gets boring one you find all the stuff to sustain you forever without ever having to leave your haven in the woods. I actually find the best part of the game to be the first 1 hour of a new life.

I have yet to see anyone ever reply on the direct chat. This is why I tend to avoid civilization.

Look for food or try hunting. Hunting is the quickest way back to health. Consuming 5 steaks = 4K blood my friend.

I always thought the knock out, zombie ohko, bleeding, bone breaking, etc. were all driven chance. Everyone has bad luck sometimes.

Yea lately I noticed that once you open up on a zombie a lot of his friends come piling on by. This happened most recently at night. I was raiding a small barn when a zombie shows up through a wall (oh well gltich). Shoot him in the head, then I heard more sounds coming from outside. All of a sudden there is a whole line of them. Toss a flare outside to distract them and when I get an opening at the door I make a break for it. Lose the rest in the dark through some bushes. I personally would prefer just swinging my ax at them instead of opening up now. It seems that you often bite off more than you can chew.

I know pound for pound the intel i5 and i7s beat the competition, but seriously if you are on a tight budget try the AMD route. You can get a Phenom II x4 black for about $100 bucks. Slap that on a decent mobo a 8gbs ram 500gb hd 650w power and a decent $120 GPU you have a decent machine. And you can always upgrade up from there. Regardless if you pick Intel or AMD, don't skimp too much on the Mobo. It counts for a lot when you start upgrading other things. I made that mistake on my first build :(

Hmm...I mean I will usually dump stuff I don't need whenever I loot to make space. Pick up a can of food and a STANAG clip. Drop the flares, and spare mackarov mag.

Well I tend to avoid this by being a loner for the most part. Unless I am playing with a group of people who I can trust, I am out in the shadows carefully watching any and all survivors within a 500m radius. Just keep walking and no one gets hurt. I haven't had to pull the trigger so far, but probably because no one seems to see me.
