I can say that, the graphical bugs are not fixed. Might be even worse but, changing V Sync to on and off fixes it. Which was never the case for me in .4. I would suggest removing the bodies all together after a real fix has been discovered. I'm liking everything else though, the subtle zed changes especially. Also the humanity thingy, well done. Keep up the good work Rocket and DayZ Team.

AS50 is the most powerful. It's a one hit kill, along with being able to destroy a vehicle in one hit. Fun Fact: Me and my sniper buddy back in the day of Combined Ops would pair up with AS50s. We were caught in a T 72 fight. We just started firing rounds into that tank, and it wasn't long before it BLEW up. Pretty damn amazing gun. But I dunno... it seems like it shouldn't be in DayZ. Don't get me wrong, I love the gun, but think about it. You spend some time trying trying to fix up your vehicle, or maybe you're out there and you have been surviving for a long time only to be one hit killed by a bullet. It's that powerful, you can die from a bullet to the foot/leg/arm/hand ect... a round or two can blow up your wonderful vehicle and disable choppers in a few hits. I think that only hunting rifles should be a common sniper rifle since it's a country side with lots of animals. DMR and M14 AIM is fine though, M24, maybe, yeah. I'm just not too big on having a bunch of players with anti-material sniper rifles. I'm not whining, I'm just saying what I think. :)

I don't always play as a guy. But when I do, it's because I'm a guy. In other words. I play as a guy because I am in fact, a guy. :D

I'm liking both of those ideas. Perhaps when the thingy is dropped from the plane, there could be a message played to players who have a radio?

I think the spawn time should be increased, but to balance it out, I also think the amount that spawns at first should be increased a bit. This *is* a zombie apocalypse, not a "zombie walk-in-the-park-and-take-a-piss. Perhaps the spawn amount should be varied too, depending on your luck, you may have a few, or maybe a large amount. Not every town should be the same.

Day 17, I think. I've got one murder which was in self defense in Cherno. While I was crawling trying to take out a sniper who was killing innocent people, I heard a shotgun being fired. I hid behind a wreck and asked "Are you friendly?" no reply, I ask again if he's friendly. Still no reply. It wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't where I wanted to be at. I told him to drop his weapons and go away, still nothing but instead he ran to a corner and took up a defensive position. I had a clean shot at his head, and as much as I didn't want to kill him, I pulled the trigger about 2-3 times for good measure. That was my first kill player kill, I didn't feel good about it, but I did what I had to do. I took some supplies off the dead guy and moved quick. I never got to that sniper either, he was up a high building, I think he heard me and I suspected he was aiming his gun at the ladder. After playing the waiting game for about 30 minutes for that guy to let his guard down, my friend told me to meet up with him. So I decided to leave, I made it out of Cherno alive.

I like this idea, especially the quiver. I always use a Crossbow while keeping it quiet, sneaking around, protecting friendlies ect... I don't like firing loud guns unless there's some serious shit about to go down, or I'm in a tight spot with Zombies. I haven't used it against a player, and I hope I don't have to but does anyone know how it goes against players?

I've been killed once in Cherno by a Russian girl. I asked if she was friendly, she said over the mic "Niet" and I was like "What the hell does niet mean" I found out what it meant after she fired an AK round in my head. This was when I was a bit more nooby though... What's wrong with stating you're a girl? :s I don't think I've seen her "overly-state" anything if that's what you're saying.

Just out of sheer curiosity... were you near Berez looking at a Deer Stand, with an AK in hand + a camo outfit on, and you saw a guy with a crossbow in hand, then got shot repeatedly by another guy with an AK? If so, we thought you were gonna kill us. We did ask for identification and we were friendly, but you didn't respond... so we opened up.
