Go into the game. Go to expansions. Remove(disable) @dayz and Dayz. It will tell you you need to restart. Click ok. The game will restart. Enjoy Vanilla Arma 2.

Right click>Properties>Local Files Tab>Verify integrity of game cache. Should help. -

The game has definitely lost some of its shine for me. Mainly its the graphics glitches. Game runs great since many patches ago and the constant die/spawn is fine, but dying because someone is looking at me and doesn't see glitches behind them is rather disappointing.

Your bette rbet is to find someone you know to do it. Building it really isnt hard and if you know the parts will fit you are better off buying them from say newegg or some other pc part site as they tend to be cheaper cus they do not include labor. Not hard to check a few online videos on how to assemble this stuff, but you could really save even more cash(maybe go 8gb and i7 tho thats still voerkill but whatver). Good luck. -

Press 'F'. You wil see it cycle through weapons and firemodes up top in the right hand corner. Also ';' will switch between primary and secondary.

I am happy to see them go and have never had a problem. Being able to lose zed makes it not so bad. Protip: Stop running to Cherno and Elektro unarmed and then crying because you got killed. P.S. - Been here since then too, and I nor anyone else gives a fuck. -
Perhaps its cus of the ammo glitch? Who knows. Saw Arma players were raging and reddit was mad too.

Lots of people are experiencing them. Vipeax(or someone) started a thread asking what and where but im sure it got lost in all the useless shit. I saw it in Stary earlier and looking at the a camp was impossible. Haven't seen this glitch sine like 1.5 -
All I know is it looks like one shot was ~8000dmg and the next was ~48000. Second shot broke your bones etc first made you bleed out and go unconscious. The server restart could be either a random coincidence, or admin abuse. But whay an admin would damage you 2 times with such random damage is beyond me. A series of unfortunate events I suppose.

How dare you sir. That is not my purpose. In seriousness though, I dont understand why peopel put TL;DR on things because of gems like these. Good read and I'll take it into consideration. It would be really badass if there was huge factions fighting each other. That i could see, but the senseless PvP on randoms doesn't seem like what life would really be like. However until personally i find a reason to unite with strangers, i'll stick to my RL friends and protect myself from all threats. I also like to troll people with flares as i recently came across NVGs. Really fun to light someone up especially in the bigger cities.

Someone killed you. WIth 2 shots. Who knows from where, if you were on the Airfield it could be from anywhere...ANYWHERE. Perhaps a silenced weapon, perhaps a low powered sniper from afar. Thats what i think anyway. Perhaps a hacker but I personally really believe it was a shot...well 2 actually. I've been to and "cleared" the airfield many times. All it takes is one random login, or one split second of looking away or over a target. I've been dealt dirty deaths many times in the NWAF.

Personally i like throwing flares from behind them and far away to light them up. Scares the piss out of them and half the time i dont even need to shoot cus someone else is about to kill them ;p -
Perhaps you have the optin "Give Applications exclusive control" enabled in your sound mixer? I believe it gives certain progs priority when it comes to mic usage. Try that or maybe check that ur mic is set up properly in game and the volume is up up UP!!!!!
