Hello everyone :), my name is Russ and I'm one of the founders of http://gamerexit.com/ which is a laid back gaming community that focuses on a wide variety of games. We've grown quite fond of DayZ over the past few months and so we want to share those experiences with you all. We recently launched a brand new server on a private hive and would love some additional players. This is a password protected server however it just requires registration on our official site which enables you to instantly see the password. Here's the official DayZ server page on our website which will show the password upon registration. Here's a bit about our server 40 Slots Located in Dallas TX United States Veteran difficulty Death Notices Enabled Cross Hairs Enabled Third Person Enabled Extra vehicles than the default Restarts every 6 hours Constant review of logs to prevent abuse Custom coded anti-hacking Enabled Server side text chat enabled(abuse of it can be grounds for a kick/ban of the server) Helpful membership base Helicopter Crashes have smoke pouring from them(makes them easier to spot) UTC -12 (day time during majority of the US official nighttime) Password protected Forum supported requests(pick ups, bandages, morphine ect) DayZWiki vehicles locations usually won't help you on this server We utilize our website as the foundation of supplying the password to the server so we can easily change the password down the road with you all having a go to place to the updated password. You can also use our forums to request help on the server, whether it's morphine/bandages/rescue what have you, I'm pretty friendly until you start shooting at me. We're looking for some great PvP so we'd love some talented people and would gladly welcome additional clans but don't mind newcomers as well. We don't hoard vehicles, and we're not out to abuse our admin privileges as we don't want to run off our new welcomed users. After a few server hosts we've finally settled on using rMod with Bliss 4.0. For complete instructions on how to connect to our server using rMod you can follow the instructions I've posted here: http://gamerexit.com...mod-server.652/ Server Highlights without the explanations below Runs rMod with Bliss 4.0 with 1.7.3 Always Daylight 40 Slots Public Teamspeak 3 for users of the server Extra Vehicles including Military vehicles and additional helicopters Ability to request bases Forum shop so users can purchase in-game items using forum points Restarts Every 12 hours with 10, 5 and 1 minute notifications warning you Forum supported requests (pick ups, bandages, morphine ect) Veteran Difficulty 3rd Person Enabled Map Markers Care Packages spread around the map Extra Vehicles With rMod it gives us the capabilities to spawn additional vehicles in the game. By default the server is setup to have a minimum of 75 vehicles in it at any given time. Those 75 will respawn if blown up/destroyed/parked outside the map to the original locations. On top of the 75 limit we've also been adding vehicles manually around the map, from additional types of helicopters to extra unique ground vehicles, here's some highlights: Additional Helicopters(Apache's, Mini AH64 choppers) Humvees Black Surbubans Military style landrovers Many other unique cars Extra Buildings We know adding buildings in different locations can change the dynamic of the game but we've decided on this so far. Things can change as time goes on, we are always looking for extra spots to spawn buildings but here's what we have so far: Kamenka: Grocery Store (for basic essential supplies so you don't have to head over to cherno necessarily before going in-land) Starry Sobor: Hospital & Firestation Berezino: Military Barracks at exisiting military setup NE Airfield: Medical Tents, Firehouse, and 2 Barracks Northern Mini-City created with all the essentials you could need for anything Other misc buildings spawned(don't want to give out all the locations) Bases We're big fans of having in-server battles, we HIGHLY encourage PvP and clan fights; with that said we're going to be giving some bases out to members of our community who contribute. Bases can consist of military outposts that you choose to have on the map in which we'll spawn in special military buildings for you to have a place to go to and call "base". More details to come and if you have additional questions on these please register on our site. Forum Shop At Gamer Exit we've setup a point system for users to interact and contribute with the site to reward a certain amount of points to different things done. With these points you're able to purchase site specific things or actually items for DayZ. We're about to launch new items in the shop to where you'll be able to buy custom loadouts, meaning you'll have certain items anytime you respawn unique to your character.
