  2. Finally getting 1.2 onto my server but need to try and find out some class id's so i can spawn in the new vehicles specifically the SUV colours options and the USEC maule, i have tried using these>

    but they did not spawn in after a restart so not sure whats going wrong and i couldn't find anywhere a class id for the suv's in alternate colours ? Also it seems refuelling does work already in this version so that's a bonus :)

    You need to take sql files and put in your db. What version you use, server files?

    I'm glad to be able to announce you our new version of @DayzTaviana 1.2.0.

    Due the last weeks and days we worked hard to finish the new version of @DayzTaviana.

    After our public release of Taviana, we were very happy about the great success Taviana had in the Dayz community. A lot of players told us how much they like the map and a lot of ideas and input was given to us by the community, which we really appreciate. Taviana has so many different places and environment, which offer so many possibilities for awesome settings fitting to the idea of DayZ.

    This motivated us to work hard on serveral fixes and most important, add some new ideas for @DayzTaviana 1.2.0 as well. We enjoy working on the great map Martin gave to us to port it into DayZ. Releasing the update took us so long, because we had so many ideas in our minds, which we wanted to become reality in @DayZTaviana 1.2.0.

    We added more details to the ambience and spent a lot of time to rework every city. How would a village of Taviana look alike in a zombie apocalypse?

    Are there any campgrounds on Taviana yet? What is the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse on Taviana?

    Known environment of @DayZ found it's way into Taviana. You will see them next time you hit the roads of Taviana.With the great passion of our players we managed to take Taviana to the next level adding a lot of new places to explore.

    While more zombies will slurp through the streets and raise the amount of threat near the civilization, different kinds of animals will roam around the wilderness again.

    Also with the great support of BI we were able to include parts of the upcoming community patch 1.7.5 for @DayZ in @DayZTaviana 1.2.0 already.

    That means you will find a lot of new weapons and vehicles on Taviana, which you haven't seen on the islands before yet.

    Players will be able to find their place in the dispiteous setting of our Taviana with the complete redone humanity system. Will you become a helpful hero or a cruel bandit?

    Our goal is to give the greatest experience of Taviana to the players and the most stable and comfortable version of @DayzTaviana for hosters.

    @DayZTaviana 1.2.0 is our next big jump in that direction.

    We do this, because its fun and we want to share the fun we had with the community.

  4. Bliss is the most used backend for dayz, making sure to talk with em before anything else should have been your first priority, since you know that no bliss DB support = no map on 90% of private hosts.

    You rolled the ball too late apparently...

    Of course we do know this WalkerDown. We were in contact with Bliss and gave them our serverfiles directly before we made our serverfiles release. Their feedback was really positive...but now they apparently and unfortunately have removed our serverfiles. Feel free to read more about it at Bliss Github. And that think server admins from other communities.


  5. vilayer changed MAP manualy, without ask Clients, and we have many orders from peoples make servers with @DayzTaviana.

    You every time say me about Dayz community - then we dont want to release server-files. And that we see now? Where this friendly Dayz Community?

    vilayer maked monopoly for Dayz servers. - but they cant change 1 thing - truth.


  6. This version is being abandoned by the major (host) players, and i'm sure it will left out by DayzCommander as well at a certain point.. yes it can survive on private dedicate servers but they are few if compared to the mass. For this reason i don't see how it can survive over the .com.

    The best option? You both better to collaborate, because there's sure no space for both... and dayzland.eu risks to loose months of valuable work for a matter of bad decision... it would be really a waste of time and resources.

    Hey you Vilayer friend dont say what not TRUE. Lowers come to your friends soon.

    @DayzTaviana have all 120 full servers, and yours VILAYERS clients want to change server to play in @DayzTaviana Original and not in Fake one(from Vilayer).

    At the request of my friend Alejandro, I can confirm that his team ‘DayzTaviana’ from (DayzLand.eu) where the first to contact me about porting DayZ to Taviana Island. I was contacted about a month or two before Taviana Island was completed and released to the public, and have worked with DayzLand and Mr.Shernai, hand in hand to make sure that the user experience of DayzTaviana is at the best possible level. We also tirelessly worked hand in hand to make sure that as many issues with the island where identified and corrected to provide the user with the best possible experience of Taviana Island as a standalone addon, and as a part of DayzTaviana.

    Apart from working hand in hand with the DayzTaviana tam on the mod, the team also prepared configuration files for all the models used on Taviana without which the island could not be released to the public as a standalone addon or as part of the DayzTaviana mod.

    It was a privilege for me to work with these great people and I cannot thank them enough for the time that they put in to this to help not only me but the whole ArmA community.

  11. Taviana is a public map. So we didnt steal anything. Everyone should get it, not just Dayzland.eu to make profit out of it. Same story like the Vilayer incident.

    What you speak about - PROFIT?

    My work give me only one PROFIT -> players can enjoy DayZTaviana on Taviana map, they can feel and enjoy it TOTALLY FREE.

    All communities who ask with me have all support from me for make DayzTaviana Server.

    You Steal our work - bc you change official key signature and loadingscreens only for steal and make your **** work.

  13. Good evening ladies and gentleman,

    Today I bring you another great feature for your favourite game mod. Working hard with my friends at Dayzland Community we ported another great island to DayZ and unleashed the horde. Hand in hand with Martin, the developer of Taviana Island, we are proud to be able to release DayzTaviana just at the moment Island Taviana will be brought to the public. Befor I start with the showcase I want to thank you my friend for the cooperation and support you offered us and that we are now able to release a working and balanced first version of DayzTaviana. *hat off*


    Taviana Island - Background, Geographie and Outlook


    When talking about Taviana Island we talk about the State of Taviana with a size of 625 km² established on two big islands in the Baltic Sea. So we should rather call it Taviana Islands. The two big, seperated Islands are connected with each other by the famous Bratislav Bridge. The smaller Island, named Lesh with a size of approxiamtly 48 km², is created by a volcano in the middle of the island. It features mainly agriculture areas laied around the mountain and some huge, dense forests scattered over the island. The Airport Krasnoznamenks is located in the NE part of the island a few kilometers beside the town of Krasnoznamenks which is one of the two bigger towns on the island. The southern part of the island is hold by tourists who spend their holidays in one of the uncountable beautifull resorts at the coast. The northern part offers a very unique attraction, a reacetrack west of the port of Stangrad, one of two big ports on the island.

    The bigger island has a size of approximatly 70 km² and is named Bukvac. The capital city Sabina is located in the middle of this island. Sabina is not only the capital but the biggest city on Taviana Islands with a size of 1.1X1.5 km. It holds a underground train station, tram system and many historical buildings giving the city a very unique modern stlye while keeping up the history of the state. The landscape is dominated by giant mountain formations on the island and the thick forest belts around them and at the coast. Two airports are located on Bukvac, Airport Dubovo in the south right beside Sabina and Jaroslavski Airport in the northern part of the island. The uncountable urban areas, mostly post soviet workers' settlements or industrial areas are connected with each other by an highway. A modern train system completes the public transport network. The pioneer role on the subject of renewable energy is clearly visible by the offshore parks and wind turbines all over the island.

    Many little islands and some oilrigs north of Bukvac are always worth a visit. Not to mention the countless ruins all scattered over the two big and smaller islands.

    There are so many things to point out about the buildings and landscape, just read it up in the manual we will hand out with the package. Martin gives detailed information about Taviana in there. It's worth it.

    DayzTaviana - Technical Aspects


    Now let us talk about some DayZ facts and features this port offers. Basically its pure DayZ gameplay with some slight changes and tweaks to improve your gameplay and experience. This means that every native DayZ function works how they used to work. We added the dependency on owning a toolbox to repair a vehicle. Will never understand why that got removed :P . Some lootrates are tweaked to work smoothly with the buildings of the island. Of all barrack loot has been decreased to fit the chernarus drop rate. Many little object compositions have been added to increase the atmosphere and give a little background for those that like to play DayZ in a roleplay style. This is still WIP and there is more to come in the future. Some new vehicles have been added/introduced. We intended the Mi-17 Civilian and Mi-17 RU medevac to replace the Huey. Therefor we removed the radar of this vehicles and additionally we modified the An-2. It's legit to bring an airplane in the game on a map of this giant size in our opinion. In addition we overhauled the boats. They now have an inventory and are finaly usefull. We increased the speed of the small boats and fishing boat slightly to make them less of a deathrap. In addition the temperature calculation has been modified to not freeze you to death nearly instantly once you enter a boat. To increased the atmosphere we decided to turn the streetlamps back on. In the future we will replace the vanilla arma2 streetlights with some better and realistic looking ones.

    In addition DayzTaviana will be the place to release and get player feedback of new technology we develope to increase your Dayz experience. So even if you dont like the island stay tuned. It will be worth it.


    DayzTaviana - Release information


    Although the work is 100% done release will be on 4th of November when Taviana Island is officially released by martin. We will start off with a hand full of server for you to get in touch with the island and for us to get some stresstest data. The server list will be released here together with the download link. Dont worry, serverfiles will be brought to the public after a short testing period. We just want to ensure that you can enjoy the product from the very first minute on your own server and dont have to struggle with bugs or performance issues.

    Streamers that want to get in touch with DayzTaviana from the very first beginning can "sign up" and drop their channel link, maybe with a short description of language/location etc. right here. You will get first hand information on when the servers go live and your channels will be advertised to allow those that dont have the chance to participate to get a first impression.

    -The weather has been changed to fit an island in the baltic sea. (More wind and fog, sorry sniper boyz)

    -Temperature calculation has been changed to consider boats. You no longer freeze to death instantly on a boat, you will still loose heat when the weather is bad.

  14. Today cheaters kill me 5 times, 4 time find teleport from cheater to debug 30km from cherno. 2 time 15km from cherno to ocean. Now I have VERY VERY SLOW loading time 15 min to join in game. And everytime in debug.

    15 of my friends stop playing Dayz, bc TOO many cheaters!!!! Some time I think cheater number is more what bugs in Dayz.

    We try to take money back.
