Yann please refrain form posting until you have read at least some of the previous posts, otherwise you just look ignorant. The whole point of this is that the UKHC guys didn't break any rules, its a very black and white issue. If the rules are not to your liking, take it up with Rocket and the dev team. Arguing with other users is a waste of breath as we don't have the power to change them.

It just amazes me how people can take it upon themselves to run a server without understanding the basic rules. Why take on the responsibility if you are not aware or the set of rules you have to follow?

The issue here seems to be that people are taking it upon themselves to re-define the rules and act upon them. There is no question that what UKHC have done is completely allowed according to Rocket(the guy who created the game.....) i.e duping and picking up ammo crate weapons. Sure you can argue that its not cool to do that(which is a separate discussion) but as admins you have no right to make up your own rules. its just that simple. So as butthurt as you admins want to be about people having hacked in weapons, its the act of hacking and scripting that is not allowed, NOT owning the weapons.

NO NO NO! more than one zombie type will make it arcadie and less realistic(not to mention that you're ripping off L4D)

Love it, would make for a lot of fun and keep in line with the (realism) that the more 'hardcore' people want. I remember reading a thread a while ago about radios. One of the suggestions was that they would have a limited amount of channels so the possibility of hearing others was something to be aware of, now if the drops were announced by the pilot of the plane over radios on random channels, say half an hour prior to the drop, that would give people time to scramble and remove the consistency of 'same time same place' mechanics.

How about for the sake of realism we all run about in a field with airsoft guns? .... Seriously how is this kind of input helpful? By virtue of it being a video game im sure you can work out that Its about striking the balance of the difficulty to give the best gaming experience, which would be improved if the kill message was gone, no? -

This is the point, it just helps codfags in being trigger happy and not having to think about the consequences of pulling the trigger, for the sake of realism it should go. Makes sense and solves both issues. -

The removal of the 'was killed' message would be great! That should defo be removed as it will not only make it possible for people in close combat to feign death, but also when you see someone running through the woods and take a pot shot with a sniper you wouldn't know if you had hit or not and it would add to the danger. -
