agree with the play a bit of arma 1st to get you ready to the controls etc .....plus its not a bad game :P ,but then u load up dayz and experience the beast game that it is ,be rdy to run ,hide and die untill u get used to it :) gl mate welcome aboard ....

This is Dayz .....This is why we love it . ..tho the learning curve is slightly steep to begin with thats and i will say again why we love it Check every corner ,scout every window ,sure running through town can seem a great idea to pick up gear but be aware you probably are being watched ,paranoia is good to have in Dayz ,that being said if your are being picked off by pro snipers then there is not much you can do except learn where they are sneek up behind them put some bullets in the face :P

i think its a decent idea tbh ....most games have achievements and they are a popular ,though your idea seem a bit l33t for me and would prefer just a simple achive sytem that helps people learn the game similar to minecraft * eat for the 1st time ,start your 1st fire ,equip your 1st weapon ,etc * and not scoring people as would just lead to more camping etc and noob killing

this question should be answered by your own team .....if u can fix it keep it ,if you cant fix it get rid - simple

not impressed rly but Dayz has never been about the graphics cause in truth they are horrible compared to pretty much every other game out there have to say i did expect slightly better than this but its still early days i guess so finger crossed but ofc its more important they adress the horrible gamebreaking flaws that plagued regular dayz and caused so many people to just stop playing it

what a bad idea .....u cant ban teamspeak lol rly tho bad idea ,my friends use teamspeak for other games and use it of a nice way to jump into another conversation or just chat while playing a different game ,if any game tried to ban teamspeak so i couldn't speak to friends on a different game then i just wouldnt play that game .

playing at night improves this game heaps ...makes it a lot harder and more tense imo ,especially as u play like i do without all the op gear and try to rely on natural survival instincts .. saying this tho i do see why some people dont like night time and dont really see it as a gamebreaking problem as i dont play on those servers as i like the different times of day makes it more fun

Dayz has always had fucktards that want to shoot lesser geared players to try to make believe they are actually bandits ....while a real pvp player would see no point in this as it involves no skill the above mentioned seem to take delight and think this actually improves the game .. Hopefully now black ops is out they will move across there and take delight in camping with whatever gun is deemed OP at this current time ,But sadly they will always exist .

probably destiny if i had to pick one ...but yeah dont really watch any of them as would rather play myself than watch some huge ego bang on about how good he is etc ....

just learn the map .....most of the morons who play dayz will try to shoot 1st even if u dont have anything they want so sadly thats the way u have to be ... best advice is to check the forums here for decent servers and try to hook up with other players who want to play the game for what it is .....and not some dumabass kids that shoot anything that moves ,tho those type of players u will make short work of once u know the map and are equally equipped

ok this is what i have to reply to ? ...sheesh ok some facts no1 it is not my server and have never said it was no2 why do you care if we are breaking the tos ? are you the internet police no3 our community has at peak 30 ish players on our server so small gang pvp is pretty frequent and fun ok now im bored of all the haters and whiners and going to play some dayz away from hackers and enjoy the game ,i hope you do too

no you are missing a lot if you have never experienced small gang warfare fighting over zones with the added danger of zombies ,sadly instead of actually thinking this through you want to try to force me to play on a server where some pro player is going to kill me when i am unarmed .....no thanks i will stick to where i am edit ....i get this is a sandbox but if you cant see the OP is a douchebag you should team up ,i think you will be life long friends

we are not a carebear server ;P ,we just like friendly players who like to work together in small teams and play to the games strengths ,ie using tactics and skill as it is after all based on a military sim if i could safely give out the info here i would but sadly as proved above we have a community ready to report me or wish that our server is closed just because we dont want to be over run with hackers or like the Op killing unarmed new players for pretty much no gain apart from that they will not get his beans ...

actually i did not say that ....that is what you must do we play completely on our server with a decent community ,plz read my post if you feel the need to comment in future :P

bad luck mate .....keep hunting and you will find more ,that is why making friends in this game is awsome as you can cover ground faster looking for parts and securing vehicles when you need to find spares usually we have at least one person secure the area while we are off hunting for parts ,and ofc its not impossible to do it solo just makes it that much harder my advice would be to go hunting for a fully repaired vehicle if you are solo as they are not that hard to find and usually you will find a nice stash of weapons nearby also :)

dont care .....we have a amazing community and its no secret if u think they are going to ban our server because we dont allow morons and hackers then keep dreaming :P

happy to say i play on a locked server where the community is awsome and we remove morons ......ofc its a sandbox but your way of gameplay adds nothing to the community ,personally i would like to help the players gear up then have a enjoyable battle against a well equipped team up north where skill/tactics actually counts ...

i agree ....if i join my server at night time im pretty sure anyone on has nvg etc as playing on a pitch black server and having to use flares is not a good idea at the best of times as you basically just make yourself a huge target for us to come find u btw finding you does not always mean we will kill you .....as we have picked up a few people and geared them recently just to help em out and to make it actually fun for them to work at night and have 100% of the time been thanked for doing so .....not once has someone said no thx i would rather stay here and use flares ;/

not sure this is ever workable in arma2 but valid idea ......also i would like random spawns as my friend has a epic collection of guns and his is just a regular house ,maybe with a crowbar u could open gun cabinets etc also would stop the usual snipers camping the usual spots etc
