there's a risk to helping any one out in dayz, as well all know, I will only play with certain people I actually know. They could easily pop one in ya head once ya have sorted them out with gear!

I'd only been playing a few days, having already been killed by two bandits, I didn't want to get slotted and start over again, so i decided if the opportunity came I would take it. My first kill was some guy with a Enfield stood staring into Zelenogorsk, at first I thought he was a zed as he was fully stood up, I zoomed in to get a closer look, saw it was another guy, I then crept up nice and close and shot him with my MP5 SD. I didn't want to take the risk of not shooting him, i then looted his body and off I went.

That was the most boring made up story I have ever read. Well done

I've been shot there by a sniper too mate, next time if ya see a guy with a sniper rifle just slot him first mate. Nothing better than ruining his days camping!

I'm in that area myself, did pretty well loot wise myself, a bit short on ammo, but I play sneaky sneaky so its not a problem as long as I have a few rounds if needed. if I was just spawning again, i'd crawl into kamenka find whatever loot I could there, maybe the check the few deer huts that are north of kamenka, then straight into balota, gotta risk it for a biscuit!

I always log off in the safest place I can find, so this doesnt happen. Unless you did do that and it was just chance another player was there?

I'd like to see the random broken legs fixed, I returned to my player today and he had a broken leg? And stop things breaking legs so damn easily!

thanks for the reply dude, was using the m9 sd took 4-5 rounds to the chest per zed a bit unrealistic, don't use the makarov unless i have no other option.

+1 I also dont like the pistols being soooooo weak! Against army z's yeah 4-5 shots maybe, but normal z's 2-3 shots with any pistol should put them down.

I don't mind the new patch, but If i was to be picky I do think the zombies do agro alot easier and the pistol nerf is a unrealistic, but its an alpha, so i dont complain I just play :)

DayZ is nothing like call of duty???

I heard about this game from mate before the steam sale was even on the cards, do a bit of research along with playing other games too. A few weeks later I'm reminded of dayz by a different mate, think about for a few days more research, thinking logically I know of steam sale and wait for a cheaper price to minimise my own costs, see arma II on steam sale, I buy it, so what? I was probably going to buy it anyway. I chose to wait till it was a tad cheaper, as would anyone. So yeah I'm relatively new to dayz, my guys been alive for 3 days now, I enjoy it, its great, yeah hard learning curve at the start. I was first shot by a whom I assume was a bandit in electro, also shot by a sniper somewhere in electro, ( I know now to avoid cherno/electro ) But overall Its a great game, I class myself as a survivor, am not interested in shooting every one I see. But its widely said when asking mates "in dayz don't trust anyone" so what are new guys to think? shoot this guy? or get shot in the back?
