    Make sure you are running Combined operations, not original Arma 2. Keep in mind, that unlike in "Shooters", there is certain maximal turning speed in Arma 2. This is sometimes missinterpreted as negative mouse acceleration/lag. Set your mouse sensitivity to make the movement feel more natural. I even had to set different sensitivity in X and Y axis. There are some acknowledged mouse issues, that arent going to be fixed until Arma 3, but those are minor problems, that dont make the game wholy unplayable.
