There ARE always hackers on a server, even when its low populated, they just dont always kill everyone, they teleport around and spawn shit.

Yes the mod should be abandoned, it is beyond the point where the major issues can be solved. Duping, hacking. None of this is going to be solved and those two things alone, utterly destroy the true potential of the game. It is a waste of effort to continue developing the mod. Even the artifacts dont seem to be resolved after several patches, let alone the true issues of the game. Just develop the standalone really.

I know they have teleports etc but do they have wallhack as well? I was prone on the ground in a building and got shot through the wall without any chance the player would otherwise be able to know i was there.

i got amd phenom II 3200 x 6, and radeon 6870 and i sometimes got 12 fps in cities, i mean seriously, what the fuck. You would expect that a 6 core with that gfx would be able to run the game...
