If I'm moving my mouse very slowly left to right my character/crosshair turns very quickly. But if I move it at any decent speed, I'm not even talking swiping the mouse quickly, but just moving it at a comfortable turning speed, my character doesn't turn hardly AT ALL. I have to either swipe my mouse 10 times to get a 45-degree turn, or I have to take 3-4 full seconds for the 45-degree turn, having to move my mouse so incredibly slow. No problems noticed really with y-axis at least not nearly as bad if so. I truly cannot play the game with this mouse movement, and there is no way to turn off mouse accel is there?? I have a Razer Deathadder by the way. If anyone knows of a solution, please tell me, I'd love to play the game I bought!!

You sound exactly like me, I highly recommend joining a Private Hive server because hackers are far less common and if a hacker destroys the server or kills everyone, an admin will just use a backup and get everybody's stuff back (at least in this certain one I play on). There are squads/clans and people competing commonly and everyone here likes the militarized style of playing as well. I play there! Actually it's the only server I play on because if a hacker ever comes in and destroys anything there's ALWAYS an admin online that will just use a backup from like an hour back or less, no problem at all. Funny that I found this post, lol. Great group of people to play with.

I played DayZ many months back when it was first becoming popular. I joined the military (semper fi) and haven't been able to play but now I will have about a month of free time to do as I please, specifically, play DayZ! It's finishing installation right now so I will be rusty for just a little bit while I get back into the groove of things..But I'm an experienced player ready to roll. I like using tactics as well, makes it more fun, but it is still just a game. I have a mic, teamspeak/ventrilo/mumble, and can play any time of the day (don't go to school right now obviously) any day of the week. Hit me up brotha

Probably. How many people were in the server? Usually a server with more than 10-15 people has at least 1-2 people in Cherno and 1-2 in Elektro, from my experience.

Right there with ya bud. I haven't been killed in weeks by legitimate means. Every death has been from getting teleported and mass killed or just dropping dead along with everyone else in the server. This alone has made me quit after 2 months of active playing. It's become crazy in the past couple weeks...It's just freakin ridiculous now. Every single server that's not on a private hive ends up getting nuked, it's just a matter of time.

I was hoping to see 2 helicopters having a dogfight. Today while on one of the main sniper buildings in Cherno, THREE helicopters (clearly hackers) flew over Cherno and appeared to be fighting, lol. They all flew straight into the ground at Cherno after a while and the entire city was in flames. Pretty epic.

If I trusted anyone to kill me and not take any of the loot I would. Just wondering if there's another way.

I was playing with a friend west of Kamenka (nobody would ever really go there) and all of a sudden we hear a voice over the mic system and he's saying some nonsense we can't understand and all of a sudden he like locks us in to place or something..I'm stuck in prone, my menu won't even open, I can't do ANYTHING at all. It's as if every key, even Escape, is unbinded in my game. I tried reconnecting do a different server and I'm just stuck in prone, maybe in the ground a little bit? Not sure.. Either way I can't play because some hacker clearly screwed with my game and now I can't do anything whatsoever. Any help is much appreciated.

I'd love to but I personally hate skype, if we use TeamSpeak or Vent or even Mumble I'd be game. I have a vent server if you all need a place to stay.
