I have 12000 blood, my DayZ is max in my sound mixer, all volumes are maxxed except for music which is at minimum.

So basically, I can't hear ANY gunshots outside of maybe 15 meters. The ones I can hear are INCREDIBLY quiet. Even my own gunshots sound like I'm playing with a paintball gun or something. I haven't died to it yet, because I play with a few friends- but they hear gunshots a lot and I never have. I don't know what the problem is- My volume is maxed out except for music.

Everything but music is max, and my computer volume is max. It isn't volume. It's the game. I can't hear any gunshot unless its right next to me, and even then it is super quiet.

Lately, I can't hear any gunshots outside of a few feet away from me. My friends will shoot when in a building away from me and I wouldn't have known they did if they didn't tell me in skype "It's me shooting". They get scared and ask where shots came from, when I never heard a shot to begin with. What do I do?
