I made a fireplace, but could not add the (8) rocks to turn it into an oven. I only tried using new UI and wondered if anyone else had a problem? I then tried just placing cooking pot(with meat inside) in the fireplace cargo slot. I could not view the meat and ended up badly damaging the pot. Any ideas? Thanks

Using the new UI and like it a lot. Reloading quickly is much easier.

As soon as I light the fire, everything went black except the fire. I was near a shed and went inside and looked up and then lighting went back to normal. As soon as i moved close to the fire, everything went black again. Any ideas?

Well the reason I made the fire is because it was raining and I was soaked and freezing. Rain stopped just long enough for me to make it and I was able to get warm. Question.... Will being next to a fire also dry out your clothing? How long does the rain last? been on the server almost an hour and it's rained the whole time. Thanks

Dug up a plot with a hoe, planted a seed and says soil needs water. Only option I get with canteen is to empty and does nothing. Help please?

I didn't get bored, didn't play it long enough to get bored due to starting at the coast almost every time I logged in, but it did get me in the mood to play the mod again which I have not in almost a year. Got the Epoch mod and I'm having a blast! I'll just play it and watch the forums till they get things running better with SA.

Got the red chain then said "no message received for" and started a timer, so I log off, wait 5 minutes and log back on and BAM! I'm at the coast with a new character......again!

Ok here is my test report, I log on, run around for an hour to get a backpack and a shovel or axe, then when I log on the next time my character is wiped and get to do it all over again. Hope this helps. ;)

Well then no point in really playing that I see. Im glad to support the game with my $, but starting fresh almost every day is ridiculous. I'll just be a forum watcher for a few months.

Is this a server thing or something I'm doing wrong?

Ok me and my brother started playing again after taking many months off and we are having a blast. We had just finished making a gear run in Stary and see a heli land there and go to check it out. Keep in mind that I've only flown one for like 5 minutes in Arma boot camp.

Just submitted an application for me and two others! Just got hacked for first time and really want a hack free server bad. And if you change to pvp that's cool too. I like the idea of a safe zone, maybe Cherno? then rest of map pvp? Anyhow, hop we get approved and thanks for creating this server.

I've read all the complaints about hacking, but never payed much attention as i played on low pop servers and they seemed to leave them alone. Played solo for about a month, then my nephew joined and we built a base in the city of Cherno (5 tents in a warehouse) and also about 5 tents in the woods north of Cherno. The other day, they finally rebooted the server after 16 days and we found a ural, couple gaz, pickup and dirt bike and put them all up in our camp in the north woods. The next day I spawn in to see someone driving the ural around the north camp in the woods crashing into trees, our other vehicles and smashing tents. I open up on him, he stops, gets out and I put two full stanag mags into him. He takes out his gun and drops me. My nephew spawns in the camp in the warehouse and says he is now there! How did he find both places so fast? Can hackers see what is on the map? Anyhow, needless to say after having a real blast the last few months, we both are now really discouraged and are trying to figure out what to do next. Thought about getting our own server, but that's $30 a month and we don't even know how to set one up. Went into the clan section to try to join a private server, but not having much luck with that as my brother will be joining us today and we really want to just play with us three and try to build a base somewhere. Any advice on how we can proceed from here other than just waiting for stand alone would be much appreciated. Thank you.
