they did it to be an asshole so newly spawned players cant get food as easy as usual. -

Well that is a 50 caliber rifle so it should be a one shot kill as for the dying maybe you should stop running into town scout out the place have a buddy on the hill outside of the city and sneak into town its much harder to find you if you don't have a horde of zombies chasing you. -

On dayz commander it says US 1536 is using 1.7.2.6 I thought it was only up to 1.7.2.5?

Especially sense your not asking for medical help but for transportasion specifically from a heli instead of you know cars or a travelling companion.

Maybe that is how they survive kill and loot instead of raiding cities, although me personally I would not waste a bullet if you don't have a gun unless your in a good loot area.
