Server hopping is terrible. Never server hop. And killing yourself to get a better spawn? Taking away from the game. I spawned at Krutoy Cap and made the longer journey to Balota to get up with a friend. It was worth it. I did the traditional loot route for Elektro and came away with decent loot.

Actually, I've mistaken myself. The new mobo CAN read the optical drive. The problem is when I go to instal Windows 7 on my HDD, it won't let me. I can't select my HDD or partion the HDD. I get an error but can't remember what the error said to save my life.

Could it be possible that my optical drive doesn't have the IDE ability? I really don't remember what optical drive I have. But I know it's cheap.

I appreciate the help Tiaitchai. But I don't think that will help me? Unless it will remeber the setting? My optical drive is SATA connected, so I'll have to try that M4L. If that's the problem, why didn't I have to do this the very first time with the Biostar board? Just curious as to why this would different.

I found this out the hard way last night. I was trying to figure out why I couldn't pick up an ALICE pack. It spawned on top of a crossbow bolt and wouldn't let me pick it up. Good advice.

Yeah. This game is frustrating man. I lost 13 hours of gameplay to a single sniper bullet. Lost everything.

My folders are separate and I can run DayZ just fine. If I was you, I'd download DayZ Commander. It will install DayZ for you and keep ARMA 2/DayZ up to date. Its also one of the better launchers for DayZ. I love it.

You really don't want your tent close to any high traffic area. The purpose of a tent is to store your precious supplies. Having a tent close to loot areas will just lead to it being found.If you could get a vehicle, it would definitely make the whole situation better. You'd be able to have your tent(s) way out in the middle of the nowhere, and not worry about someone finding them. But then again, if you had a vehicle, it would basically be a tent on wheels. I put everything in a tent. Weapons, ammo, food, etc. When I go on a scavenging run I empty my pack (ALICE), and only carry a primary weapon, map, compass, one food/drink, painkillers, morophine, and a bandage. That way I can maximize my loot intake. No problem.

Blame Rocket for that. I agree if you're paying $40-50 a month for a server, you SHOULD be able to lock the server. But its retarded.

Alright. I hate the graphical glitch just as much as you guys. And I played for 10+ hours yesterday without the glitch ever happening. The guy I was playing with however had it the entire time. I was just making my way towards Green Mountain and I got hit with the graphical glitch. And I was thinking, how is this possible? I just played 10+ hours the day before without one problem. Now I have the problem? I looked at my video settings and I was playing in "Windowed" mode. I had been playing in 1280x720x32. So I figured why not change it back. As soon as I changed it back from "Windowed" mode, the glitch was instantly gone. I thought I'd share this because playing in "Windowed" mode is convenient when you're tabbing to look at the map online, using Skype, or do other stuff. So I figured why not share this. TL;DR - Don't play in "Windowed" mode. It possibly causes the graphical glitch.

I think the hatchet would be a GREAT starter weapon. Very useful against Z's.
