yeah, this made me sad for a while :/ i found my first l86aws and was so exited i always kept it on me, than a few days later it got replaced in my backpack with bolts and empty whisky bottles, shortly after i searched a nearby barracks to be overjoyed that i instantly found a replacement to find a svd camo, plus i even found two ammo box's full of stanag sd rounds and svd rounds, i was so exited because ive always wanted that gun and have told my friends over and over that one day ill get that gun and a ghillie and ill be able to protect them in cherno and the airfield all day .... than I logged in to helped my friend at the airfield, to my sadness for some strange reason 6/8 of my stanag sd mags became dragunov mags, so now i had 12, i ended up suppressing other players as they had been shooting and my friend didnt want to die, we killed them and i took a dead persons coyote pack and put my svd in it, we ran to safety and logged out in exitement. An hour later i logged back in to see that my svd camo had been replaced by morphine injectors........ that ruined my day and shortly after i died to a hacker who set off a nuke at the nw airfield T>T this happened in us 593, the power of the backpack problem had destroyed every gun I held dear.

one thing you might also want to do is get accustomed to the landscaping of the city and think which parts of the outskirts provide snipers with the best coverage, with that you can easily find the safest routes to be safe when leaving city's. for example if you leave cherno, try using the cliffside northwest of the residentials/northern hospital, or if your leaving electro, whatever you do, don't go anywhere close to the north fire house unless your asking for it

as i just said, i logged out with my l85 and when i logged back in to meetup with my friends, instead of a l85 my backpack had the list of whisky bottles etc instead of my gun

hi, i am an experienced player in dayz, the game i must admit is amazing in every sense and this is my first time posting on the forum but i would like to ask if it is possible to re-aquire the lost content of my backpack. recently i was proud to of finally found a l85A2 AWS and today i had recent logged in with my friends to realize, it had been replaced with 4 water bottles, 5 empty whisky bottles, 4 steel bolts, and about 6 or so pepsi cans, I urge to ask if this fixable and if not as I have beta/alpha tested games before as a player am understanding in the fact that my prized weapon has left me into the nether for all eternity. thank you for reading this post and i respect any post made to comment on the situation. i would also like to note that the gun had stayed with me for atleast 2 or 3 days before this had occured.
