I like your suggestions, one thing I will add though, you are required to drink and eat more if you are running long distances as opposed to just camping, so displaying how long someone has might be an issue. I do believe that a bar would be easier though, as you suggested, similar to the fuel tank of a vehicle but not as dramatic.

I'd say its next to impossible to play this game on a joypad, because of the large amount of keys you will need to press. Its not simply run, aim, fire :P

It would seem graphical glitches aren't the only issue at the moment, sure they are annoying as hell, and going to military areas are damn near impossible, but the amount of hackers I have seen over the past couple of days is just damn right laughable. Theres a guy running around Elektro dropping buildings at will with some kind of crazy RPG-from-his-finger-tips style attack. He's basically sitting around invisible, waiting for someone to run into a building and then levelling it. I saw it as I was camping the top of the firehouse, watched the school and the other firehouse become rubble. I tried to talk on direct to whoever was doing it and thats when my position was nuked. Not the first hacker i've met today either. Something needs doing. Another interesting point, when I log into the server it tells me I have the wrong weapons file. I was on US155 about an hour ago, most of the population were just insta-killed in a second, no teleports, no dodgy spawns, just killed.

I'd be all for standing on the grassy gnoll and taking pop shots, so... I can't see it working.

Since this is an MMO, take a leaf from the biggest MMO's book, place a 20 second timer up on logout, and if someone alt+f4's their character should stay put on the server for 20 seconds and log back in to find themselves eaten or shot.

Makes you feel a bit like Daryl from The Walking Dead, but unfortunately he makes it look easy in comparison. I'm sure if you were a sneaky person, needing to take just one or two zombies down strategically you could make it work, but god help you if you run into someone with a gun.

It's a nice video but hardly a top tip, I think that in reality it might take a bit longer than 10 minutes to find and stalk a well geared player. I like the video though, you have my beans! Latest aggro ranges seem a little INSANE. I can handle it but when the PvP starts to flow, the zombies are just a pain in the ass. Example: run into a building for some loots, have to take out a stray zombie with your side-arm, 50 zombies close-in on you, if all you have is a side-arm, god help you. All I see this encouraging is more people just dc'ing, or is that the point? Now that you track the amount of logs.

Edit: Your friend should be a corpse, but instead I bet you gave him a transfusion. Fair enough if he had genuinely needed to dc because of graphical glitches or something, but that is blatant cheating.
