Same servers have the possibilty to do this, but AFAIK its dedicated servers that people own, where they can install something called BEC onto the server which can be set up to make announcements at certain times. e.g. before a server restart or other planned server activites.

Hey! I'm the server owner of LU289. I've looked trough the logs and database and I can't find any tracks of any players with an [XMK] tag in any of the logs so sadly I'm unable to act unless you can give me a specific time and date that this happened. I actually think it was me and my friends (not [XMK]) truck and atv you took =) Were they near Zub's Castle? Sorry for the late reply as well, as I've been plenty busy with school.

If you ever do so again, please write me at track1044@gmail.com or on here with the approximate time so I can check logs including the RPT. to see if I can nail the dude.

I live on the outskirts of a rather big town and there is loads of cows around and when I woke up the other day, they had broken out of their fold, standing right in front of my window right beside my bed and I immediately thought "8 meat!". I started scanning the tree line near by, for potential dangers, as I suddenly came to my senses and realized that I've been playing to much DayZ.

Not all servers have the possibilty to announce this. I'm renting a game server from vilayer.com and there is no way to automaticly announce server restarts. I just have it in the MOTD.

Quoted for truth. You get this for crashing a chopper. I dunno if the other vehicles produce the same scripts though.

My server also kicks when Heli's crash. It got something to do with the scripts.txt and the script that the crash start. I really wanna disable it cause it's freaking annoying. I flew around a chopper and I twitched my mouse so the chopper got way out of control. Crash = Kick. Everytime. A Clan on my server also crashed today with a full chopper. Was fun seeing all the death messages but all of them got kicked out of the server at the same time. I need to figure out what line in script.txt does it so I can make it invalid. Hackers bypass anyway so this is only hurting legitimate players, atm and since I keep pretty close tabs on my server I know who got the chopper and when.
