google search and download day z commander, it let's you search for day time only servers. As for your other problem, look up videos, on wiki, find friends or get your friends to get this. A good idea since you want a "easier experience" is looking for a low populated server so you can loot cities without having everyone out to get you. GB and DE servers are good for this.

Don't want anything huge, just a small group to play with since I've been trying to get my friends to get this and they're waiting for the steam summer sale. Get skype, problem solved

It hasn't done this until today, but I'm getting this weird graphics bug. The screen is dark like night, during the daytime, wish I could take a screenshot, but it shows up black after I hit print screen. I mean completely black, not like how I am describing how the screen is. All I can see is silhouettes if things, and is hard to see anything even at the highest brightness and gamma.

This thread is dedicated to my hate for tin cans after searching six buildings in a row and finding nothing but tin cans and bottles. Also I'd like to express anger at the people who shoot new spawning players who are defenseless and have no weapons.

Title says all, I run this game on lowest graphic settings btw because of my less than ideal computer, but when I am hit by a zombie, my whole screen goes bright and the game becomes unplayable as I can see almost nothing. This is especially irritating because i usually cannot hit the zombie back because I can not see him after he hits me. The only fix I have found is going into video options, and then closing out, changing nothing, and it goes back to normal until I get hit again. Any help appreciated thanks.

Hey I have the starter coyote patrol pack and when I try to move weapons I can't carry(because i want to use the axe to be silent) to the backpack, it just dissapears. It's happened twice now and I'm not going to try it again for fear of losing something good. Just to make sure I'm doing it correctly, I'll describe what I did. I mouse over the gun, select gear, select open bag, which is my coyote patrol bag completely empty, and i click the arrow that points left like it's going to my bag, after that it just disappears. It really sucks, and I guess it's a glitch, any help appreciated, thanks.

So is that every primary gun that takes up 10 slots? Seems a bad idea that if you try to take something you don't have room for, it disappears of the face of the planet, and thanks for the tips guys.

Just got this game, followed all install instructions on that one thread for "steam install" I unpacked all the folder's and everything into the @DayZ Addons folder, and when i start up Arma II OA I get the message: "DayZ_code CA Building Parts required, and when the game goes into the main menu another error pops up which says something like "File not found /bin/config/cfg/vehicles/Citizen Scope 1" or something like that. Also, I tried to join a server just in case these error messages meant nothing and it said I do not have the downloadable content required. ANY help appreciated, thank you. Edit: Just looked at the error again and it says DayZ_code requires addon CA building parts instead of what i said previously, hope it helps.

Ya no problem, I'm happy mine works, but now it's all slow on the lowest settings. Got a pretty bad PC for gaming, guess I'll just wait til I can get a new one.
