I haven't actually done it yet, but I don't think you use a syringe. You use the blood transfusion kit that you find in a med kit. The syringes are for injecting other substances.

Indeed. When you have meters or numbers you can 'game the system' by knowing exactly the most efficient time to consume food. I find the current system to be a bit more authentic.

Ambient occlusion is essentially more authentic lighting. It looks nice, but it's not worth the 10-15 FPS that it eats IMO. -
Yes, negative mouse acceleration was featured in ArmA 2 also, but there was no way to turn it off. It's there so you can't twitch aim like you can in CoD/Battlefield/Counter-Strike. The option to remove it in DayZ will be added at some point though, hold tight!

There are servers with different in-game time-zones already, just connect to a few until you find one where it's light. Generally the daylight ones have more players, so keep an eye out for ones that are 39/40 and try to connect to those. I have to agree with the above though. With the new lighting creeping around in the dark with a flashlight is quite enjoyable.

It's the negative mouse acceleration. The option to turn it off is there under 'controls', but the feature hasn't been added yet.

I've met about 20 people and only 1 has tried to engage me so far. I guess I'm having better luck than a lot of people! I think the RDM style PvP will decrease massively once something is done about low-pop farming and server hopping and weapons and ammo are as rare as was intended.

If there is no 'hungry/thirsty' status in the gear menu then your character is full. :)

The FPS stutters are an issue with the latest patch, everyone is in the same boat in that regard. They should be resolved soon.

Blunt trauma to the head could easily result in death. You could kill a man with a loaf of bread...

I'm not having problems connecting to EU servers. Also, it's down to the community to provide more servers, not the devs. The devs have said many times that they will stop hosting servers all together once they feel that the community have enough of their own.

Also, the answer is - yes, you can run it but I'm not sure exactly how your machine will perform because I think the GTX 660 will be bottlenecked by the old dual-core CPU. If you have any more questions please use the topic that Bones provided a link to. :)

I don't think anyone's ever managed to get decent SLi utilisation in any RV title, unfortunately. It causes more problems than it solves...

Yes. Delete it and delete the DayZ folder in My Documents. Then go into Steam, right-click DayZ and Delete Local Content... Navigate to your Steam directory (C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common, by default) and delete the DayZ folder there if anything remains. Close Steam and then run it as administrator and reinstall DayZ. Hope this helps. -
Your machine will just about run the game, but you'll struggle with poor frame rates on low graphics settings. It's up to you whether or not you want to take the plunge, might be worth it if you plan on upgrading to a more gaming friendly machine at some point in the future, but it's your call. Indeed, I wouldn't recommend overclocking anything inside a laptop. It's fine for desktop machines as you can fill them with fancy fans or other cooling devices but laptops tend to get hot enough when they're running all out on stock clock speeds...
