Private hives are not modifications, like i said they're servers disconnected from the main hive so that your character does not carry over. Everybody can choose what server they play on, but I'd rather not have to play on dumbed down mods because that's what everyone else likes. It's already hard to find populated first-person only servers with a day/nigh cycle...

Did you play the mod before the mods of the mod and easy-mode servers started appearing? They ruined it completely. Pretty much everyone I know stopped playing because of it... Allowing people to bastardise the game purely because DayZ was a mod once just makes zero sense to me.

Actually, when people are using "PvE" servers to easily collect gear which they then transfer to normal servers with the rest of us I think it's all of our business.

RV engine has it's issues but it's also the best engine for the job in many respects...

Private hive = a server that is not connected to the main hive. i.e. your character will not carry over to that server.

The patch isn't live yet and the servers aren't up. Have you enabled experimental builds so that you will recieve the patch once it's pushed? -

It won't. It would take years to model interiors for all of those buildings and they're nowhere near finished with Chernaplus yet. -
Yeah, my friend had the same problem and he fixed it in the way that Nagster suggested. You just have to set your default char again.

The mouse input works fine for me is all I'm saying... -
These are things that will take a while to fix and the people who are squashing bugs are not the same people that are modelling and texturing weapons etc. Bug fixes and new content will be developed in parallel.

As above, it's designed for the Mosin. The T3X RDS, M68 CompM2 and ACOG sight can be attached to an M4.

...And what do you think would happen if they fixed all the bugs now and then added a tonne of new features? I don't mean to be rude but you aren't making much sense. The logical approach is generally to concentrate on getting all the features in place first, while fixing major bugs and issues along the way. Then after that's done you can concentrate on bug fixes secure in the knowledge that all the new features aren't just going to break everything and take you back to square one.

OP, you tested using a "fast sweeping" motion. Try again, with a slower more controlled motion and you'll find you can turn much more quickly. It sounds backwards, I know, but that's how it works. -
There are four maximum, not eight... I've seen a lot that were half of the map and I think you can find a whole map too.
