There were no factions. Heroes could kill heroes and bandits could kill bandits. The humanity system was merely an indicator as to a player's actions within the game.

Yes, loot only spawns on server restarts. Probably yes. I think the way that loot spawns will be changed once the global economy is implemented. -
1. I don't understand the question, sorry. It's normal for a new player to find the game difficult and die repeatedly, yes. If that's what you're asking anyways... 2. They will disappear when the server restarts. 3. Weapons are rare. Just keep looking...

Get off the coast and you will find loot. It doesn't respawn so head to areas that you don't think will have been looted. The server browser works perfectly for me, it just takes a little while for it to find the server when I use filters. -
If the team went to the trouble of making the map again from scratch it would be so that they were able to implement seasons. I think they would rather have them on a cycle than lock a server to a season though.

Turning clouds on actually makes night time brighter. Turning them off puts you at a disadvantage. Shadows need to be able to be turned off really, not everyone has a system that can run handle them. Post-process should be done away with completely if anything IMO. It reduces visibility, eats a load of frames and causes input lag. It's just bad all around. The only things that I agree should be locked are those that affect the thickness of trees and bushes, mainly AToC.

Snow would require the map to be completely restarted so it's a no-go IIRC. Wind, rain, storms all that kind of stuff would be nice once temperature is working correctly though.

Flares and chemlights were in the mod, I expect they'll be back at some point. They're a much better option than the torch because they don't give away your exact positon in the same way. Looking forward to their return... I think getting the power-grid back up and running is incredibly unrealistic though TBH. -
The experimental servers aren't any different from the stable ones. They're just there for players to to 'test' (i.e. play) the new build.

Something like a naked Mosin or shotgun that could be reasonably found on the coast I would leave them be if I could hide. Depends on the situation though.

You got sick from overeating. You aren't supposed to eat til you get the 'stuffed' message, it's a bad thing. Stop eating and drinking when you reach 'hydrated' and 'energized'. Not sure about the teleporting and weapon condition, I've not experienced or heard of anything like that.

Primary weapon on the coast = assumed scumbag, for me. I'm gonna be wrong sometimes but it's not worth taking the chance. Not sure about the second guy. If I hadn't needed the loot I would have probably left him be, if there had been something in particular that I was hoping to find on the body then I more than likely would have shot him. Like twin said - there isn't really a right and wrong in DayZ though.

The mouse acceleration in this game is horrible...

That's only going to make things worse... I have default Windows sens, 450 DPI and the in-game sens slider all the way down and the accel doesn't give me any issues. Anyway, in answer to the OP... "Is mouse acceleration being fixed? It is not fixed in this update, but we plan to make control changes. It is not as simple as turning it "off" as the speed your character turns is not dictated by the mouse itself, but your movements combined with the type of weapon you have, how tired you are, etc." -
In a real life survival situation you wouldn't carry a bottle of poison disguised as water around with you. Sounds very gamey/grief oriented to me.

^This. Just don't 'stuff' yourself and you should be fine. 'Stuffed' means that you've eaten too much, not the right amount.

Yeah, that's more like it. Apparently using about 10mb less than your full amount of VRAM and the 'auto' setting in-game is the best way to go too, not sure on the reasoning behind it but that's what I've always been told anyways. Also, I don't think the game will be able to use more than 2Gb (guessing based on ArmA 2, I don't think the official max for DayZ has been announced yet) or so of RAM but it will just default back to whatever the max. is so there's no harm in putting your full amount in.

You won't see anything NPC controlled in DayZ, the whole point is that the entire game is player driven. If you want a trading post then go set one up! :)
