1) Go to a barn. 2) Pick up CZ rifle. 3) ????? 4) Profit If you want a high tier sniper rifle then you need to keep checking military spawns. Airstrips, deer stands, fire stations and the tents in cities.

You do know the suicide option was just removed because it was being abused, right? Anyway, you conveniently ignored the part where I informed you that this idea is impossible. Everyone playing this game is immune to the zombie infection... That's why we're still alive and everyone else is a zombie.

@Kra - That sounds great. Sometimes when I'm playing DayZ I wish I was just watching AI roam aimlessly in a field for hours on end, hoping that a player will eventually chance upon the town I'm in, and even then he probably wouldn't kill me and I'd still be left there waiting... For someone to end my miserable existance. Seriously, the loading screens are enough without this bollocks. You're an idiot.

I've found DMRs in Elektro fire station, lol. I've bee to the NW airfield and found nothing better than an AKM before too though. Finding good weapons can just be luck unfortunately... I'd recommend checking the NW airfield and the some of the surrounding deer stands. You'll be unlucky if you don't find a decent weapon.

Definitely wasn't alt + F4 rated for me. I've never done it. My game may have crashed the last time I played, I'm not 100% sure but it often does... Or I may have got stuck on 'Loading...' or 'Waiting for character to create...' and relogged previously.

This happened to me the other day... Was at the NW airfield, then next time I connected I was in Elektro with a heli overhead. Thought I was dead for sure... xD

It's a really good feature, shame it's not being utilised right now. I'm sure they'll fix and improve on the mechanic in future. I think it's just a placeholder right now.

I think I'll pass, thanks though... I think having to boil water from the lake would be good. I always feel a bit cheap when I see a lake and drink some water then refill it, even if I don't really have to. Needing a camp fire would make it a little more tricky and time consuming. :) -

The mod is in alpha... We are all testing it. Some people are so ignorant... You can fix the graphical bugs BTW, I've gotten rid of them completely. Find an area where you're affected by them but can prone safely without being killed. Balota in a low pop server would be perfect. Go prone, looking in to the artifacting, then bring up your graphics settings and play around with them and see what affects the artifacting, you should be able to make it smaller and more transparent when you find he right combination of settings. For me it was a mix of playing witty my HDR, post-process effects and video memory. Then restart the game, artifacting should be gone. -

No. I think you should have to boil the water from a lake on a fire before you can drink it... You should probably be able to drink from those little water wells though.
