No, he means they would have say 3 guys in there playing and another spectating, telling them where everyone is. Waaay too much potential for this to be abused. It would be game breaking.

Turn your HDR to 'very high', crank your brightness all the way up and set your gamma somewhere between 1.2 and 1.5, whatever works. Night time can be fun! Had a good session with a player from here the other night, we both had ghillies on and kept losing each other. xD If you really don't want to play at night then you can either find a time inverted US server or play on a server in a different time zone. I think aggro zombies are handled locally so lag shouldn't be an issue. Just avoid PvP like the plague if you're over 100 ping and everyone else is under 50.

I don't mind the idea of this but I'm pretty sure the idea is that the survivors are immune to the zombie virus, like in I Am Legend or L4D.

A few days ago I got a kill in self-defence, losing 4k humanity (down to about -500). So I took my ghillie off to see myself as a bandit for the first time... And I still had the survivor skin. Lol wut?

Yeah, I think they should get rid of tents and probably vehicle storage, or just have vehicles automatically respawn every 24 hours or something. You shouldn't be able to loot your own corpse either, your friends should have to pick up as much as they can carry and meet up with you later.

Actually owning a pair of NVG is a little freaky... What do you use them for?

The iron sights in this game are pretty horrible. It's much more efficient to fire from the hip using zoom IMO. As for your mouse control... Turn smoothing OFF, it's horrible. Not helpful at all. Also, make sure you're getting decent FPS as low FPS makes the game feel unresponsive.

I've come across an absolute tonne of the things... The churches in Cherno and Elektro and any of those apartment buildings spawn ghillies and camo clothing a lot.

Come on, do you see any CAPS LOCK RAGE here? And this isn't 'how the game was made to be played', it's a sandbox game meaning there is no objective. If you devote your game to screwing over other people when it doesn't benefit you in any way then you are a douche. All you did in that video was troll new players, at least go to the airfield or stary and play with the big boys...

Thank you... If you're gonna be a bandit, at least seek out better geared players so you're killing for a reason. Getting an AR then heading back to the spawn cities to kill fresh spawns for low-tier loot is just poor form. I've got respect for the guys that put out videos of them going lone wolf to the NW airfield and taking out a few well kitted out player, even if I'm not a bandit myself. Says the Oxford English Dictionary... noun (plural bandits or banditti /banˈdiːti/) a robber or outlaw belonging to a gang and typically operating in an isolated or lawless area: And because that's the most logical way to measure humanity statistically in-game. How else would the game decide who gets a bandit skin and who gets a survivor or hero skin?

And what I've been trying so say to you is that... Yes, bandits make the game exciting. Players that kill for no reason are not bandits and do not make the game fun... Don't worry, just saw the Rooney quote in your sig. The fact that trying to have a conversation with you feels like I've fallen in to the twilight zone really shouldn't have come as a surprise.

Your first post was a reply to mine... Were you dropped on your head as a child? And lol at the second part of your post... I love the way that's literally all any asshat like you can say... I'm pretty much at end-game minus vehicles the whole time and I play solo, without tents, lol. This game isn't hard, even without player killing. I think they're both actually phrases which makes them pretty meaningless TBH, lol.

They aren't idiots, you're playing the game wrong, lol. 'Friendly' doesn't mean 'don't shoot me', it means 'i won't shoot you'. Just because you're friendly, doesn't mean they are. It's nice to help strangers out in this game, but not everyone thinks that way and a lot of people tend to just take the easy way out and just shoot everyone on sight. If you're gonna try and make contact with someone, first HIDE... Preferably somewhere you can see them but they can't see you... AND THEN try and find out if they're friendly. Even then remember someone could say they're friendly and then still just kill you... I prefer to just hide from other players if I can.

Brainless much? Bandits don't hang around Elektro killing fresh spawns. That's for griefers that belong on Battlefield, but aren't good enough so they shoot unarmed/hatchet dudes in DayZ.

When you're standing © and sprinting you run the same speed as the zombies except they zig-zag and stop to try and hit you when they get close. If you aggro one and it starts chasing you, just run for dear life. Even if more start tailing you they won't catch you so it's fine. Just beware of other players, running full speed with 5 zombies in hot persuit can give your game away a little. xD Head in to a building with a back way out or break their line of sigh using trees, buildings or anything else you can find to lose them. Deer stands are the best way for a new player to find decent weapons. If you go to 3 without finding an AK I'll eat my hat. I found a coyote backpack in one last night. ^_^

Abort straight away, then join another server. It's happened to me two or three times and I always got my character back when I joined the new server.

This. It can take up to 30 mins to join some servers, I have no idea why. I've been 'stuck on a loading screen', forgotten about it and been busy on the phone or something and the game loads randomly like 10-20 minutes later, lol.

I've had a medic from this site meet me and fix my legs before with no problems... You just need to be careful who to trust and if you have a quick look over their posts it should be obvious who you can and can't, lol. @OP - If you're still in need of help, I logged out in Cherno last night, have spare morphine, and am looking to move north anyway. Can pass by the hospital on the way and grab some extra supplies if you want some for your travels too. xD
