ArmA is the only game I play with under 100 FPS, lol... xD

I get 30-50 in major cities, locked to 60 everywhere else, lol. IMO anything under 30 is unplayable, the main reason being mouse lag. :(

Go in to My Documents > ArmA 2 and open the ArmA2.cfg and ArmA2OA.cfg files. Locate the following command lines... GPU_MaxFramesAhead GPU_DetectedFramesAhead And change the values to 1. This should buy you a few more FPS, but it probably won't triple unfortunately, lol. Like Rooneye said it seems your system just isn't up to par, it might be time for an upgrade.

I think maybe we should try and keep a bit of perspective here. They're just guys playing games, maybe chill out a little and let them get on with it? If you don't enjoy it, don't watch.

Well maybe you should be running with a squad if you want to rob people?.. And I'm hoping that in the standalone you'll be able to access a players main inventory instead of just their backpack so you wouldn't have that choice. ^_^ -
They aren't trolling mate, this has been discussed many times at length and was met with a resounding 'no' each time. Choosing spawn points just isn't what DayZ is about, it's designed to be harsh.

If you're running with a squad and you ask a lone player for food, they're probably gonna hand it over. You're being incredibly obtuse and then spamming 'L2Read' when you aren't really making a whole lot of sense in the first place, lol... -

We all look the same in game. In real life people have distinguishing features that you could use to say 'look out for this guy, he's a murderer'. The humanity system, althought not perfect, is attempting to represent this in game. -

I like 20-40. 40+ is probably good if you're a bandit but for me, not so much...

You don't need a weapon to use against zombies, you can run away or hide in a bush easily. The only time I actually kill them is if I have a hatchet and no primary weapon. The only thing that would be annoying to start without is a bandage. Bleeding without a bandage sucks. xD -
I agree. You shouldn't know you're in combat if someone hatchets a zombie near you and you don't hear it. You should only be able to tell by the abort button being grayed out.

Don't skimp and rush things, it'll pay off to wait and save up a little bit more cash. It's true that ArmA 2 is a lot more CPU intensive than it is GPU, but having a decent graphics card still pays off.

All you had to do was download the files and put them in a folder called '@DayZ'. o.O Anyway, like jay said - make sure you run each game once before installing DayZ then use DayZ Commander. It downloads and installs the mod for you.

I don't know any groups that don't use TS and know when their members have died, lol. I can't see this working ever, would be completely redundant in game.
