Now this is just silly. There's a huge difference between talking to the people that you're playing with and random people talking in your ear and filling your screen with text, lol. -

The mod is still in alpha, lol. Yes. a lot of people are still playing.

No. If the game even opened without giving you an error message it would be incredibly laggy, probably completely unplayable. Sorry! Wow, I misread and thought you'd listed your motherboard there... /facepalm Your graphics card isn't hugely important in ArmA 2 (as long as it's not integrated or ridiculously low spec ofc) so I'd get a really good cooling system and OC your CPU as heavily as you can (safely), or just buy a new CPU. Also, some more RAM wouldn't hurt. I'd advise 4Gb min. for playing ArmA 2/DayZ.

Have to agree a little. It's different when you're playing cups and going to LANs with (cash) prizes up for grabs in games like CS, but 'training' to play DayZ at a public level seems like you're taking things a little bit too serious to me. xD

It was. They don't spawn any more but if you had one before updating to the new patch it didn't disappear or anything. I've still got mine. ;) -
Lol... The bizon. Teamed up with a random bambi I saved one day, we found a heli crash on our way from Stary to NW and all that was there was a bizon SD. I was like 'Errr... You can have that...' and he was so happy. xD

I'd say probably most stuff on high and the stuff like antialiasing, HDR and shadows that eat a load of FPS on normal. High enough for the game to look nice anyway. -

Yeah, I just played Taviana and I kept getting kicked for 'BattlEye not responding' and then I'd be land swimming when I reconnected, lol.

If you could get a better CPU or even just a really solid heatsink fan and overclock that one a bit you'd probably run the game pretty smoothly on 'normal', it's definitely the CPU that will be holding you back. -
It sounds like he cheated and didn't want to own up TBH. ^_^ Even with a script you can't change weapon stats AFAIK.

I think he did more than pick it up, lol. I've had an L85 that I found in a very suspicous looking tent for months on the main hive and I've not been banned.

In it's current state it will struggle but if you put a dedicated graphics card in there then you should be fine. I had to turn my settings down to 'normal' to play SurviveDayZ mod smoothly and it didn't look awful. Normally play on a mix of high/very high. It's when you start putting things on 'low' and dropping your screen res below 1280x720 that it starts looking bad. -
No, you will not get banned. You will only be banned if you use a script to spawn the items yourself.

You slowly regain humanity up to a maximum of 2500 over time although you can use medical supplies on other players to increase your humanity more quickly. Killing bandits does not affect your humanity. It doesn't take too long to get rid of a bandit skin if you only kill 1 or 2 players. :) -

I can see why someone would dislike TWD, some of the acting is horrible. Personally, I enjoy the plot and like a few of the characters though.
