No, he said they had considered it. I think they decided against it because it would cause problems with releasing the game in places like Australia and Germany. -

Items like hatchet, hunting knife, matches now have a chance to degrade i.e. fail and need to be replaced. Eating will no longer refill your blood when you aren't hungry (within 5 mins of having eaten previously), same applies to drinking. And cooked meat is getting nerfed, the original idea was that it would give you a random number between 1 and 800 blood but I believe this was deemed too 'harsh' and the numbers were changed. Not sure on new values. -

Yeah, I believe it's almost ready for release, they're just adding the last few bits and pieces. No release date as of yet though. -

Lol, no. You can't max ArmA unless you've got a £2k+ PC, pretty much anyone can max. BF3 these days. Turn anti-aliasing and shadows down to 'normal' and disable PPoE and post-processing completely for a start.

Yeah, the default locations are the Steam install directory. If you didn't buy the games through Steam then you'll have to override them.

You have to run ArmA 2 and then Operation Arrowhead right up to the main menu once each before installing DayZ. :)

99% chance of a broken neck and everything in your pack being broken with it, lol. Really hope this doesn't make it anywhere near the official mod.

I'm not sure about stock ArmA 2, don't really play it much, but if you stick to well admined private hive servers with whitelist or password protection in DayZ then hackers aren't a problem. I haven't seen one for months. -

We can't do anything, you've been banned on ARMA 2 by BattlEye. This is DayZ mod forums. You'll just have to wait for BattlEye to respond or email them again. -

I think I found your problem. DayZ is more intensive than ArmA 2 on it's own so yes, it will be the same, if not then slightly worse.

If you honestly didn't cheat then it's possible that you downloaded a keystealer and someone stole your key and sold it to someone that used it to cheat. A lot of people disguise them as DayZ FPS boosters, optimisers or even *** and put them on YouTube in the hope of people downloading and running them. Whatever happened you've been globally banned on ARMA 2 by BattlEye. This is DayZ mod forums... Contact BattlEye support, they're the only people that can do anything. -
If you bought another copy of the game and were still banned then it's probably still using your old CD key.

I'm not sure they'll be able to do it unless you can prove your ownership of the CD key somehow but I'd contact BattlEye support, for a start.

In the standalone you'll just find clothing as you would any other loot. I guess stuff like that in residential areas and more military-esque camo stuff in military bases. Really though, I wanna know where that guy shops...
