What is your FPS in cities and what graphics settings are you running? Significantly lower frame rates in these areas is normal unfortunately.

No, he's asking for a key that toggles crouch/stand and then goes to prone when you hold it down. With ZXC you can go directly from standing to prone or from prone to either standing or crouched with 0 delay, so that will always be the better option IMO.

The controls will obviously need to be dumbed down to be transferred to console. It's not at all necessary when playing with a keyboard though IMO.

You have more control over your movement by using multiple keys. Tap for crouch, hold for prone is designed for console really.

Yup, that will run DayZ and pretty much anything else, although it does seem somewhat overpriced and the graphics card, as others have said, is pretty poor and should be upgraded ASAP. Sounds like your hard drive might be a bit slow. Recording to an external drive won't help though as USB is much slower than SATA. Ideally I would buy a new hard drive but one thing that you could try is lowering your recording to 1280x720 and 30 FPS as that doesn't require anywhere close to as high a write speed as 1920x1080, 30 or 60 FPS.

I think the player list should be removed TBH. Just replace it with server information & ping/bandwidth/desync.

True, but i5s still seem to fair better than every i7 up to the 4770k for some reason. Honestly, I like to think that by the time we get to the final release 60 FPS on max settings with whatever top of the range hardware is available at that time is not an unrealistic goal.

I don't think you need to go into so much detail with it, but yeah, separating actions that appear as a "default action" (drinking from a well, item pickups, door opening, entering a vehicle) onto a different key wouldn't be a bad idea. -
Max everything then drop "post-processing" and "object detail" as low as they go.

i5s outperform pretty much any other CPU in DayZ because they have the best single-core performance.

Highly debatable. For DayZ or Arma anyway anyway Intel > AMD.

Don't cross-post, just post once in the correct place please. In reply to your question - I would have thought that you'll be bottlenecked by the 750 Ti a bit therefore the CPU won't perform as well as it could otherwise. You will definitely see a big improvement though, as you're suffering the exact opposite and your 750 Ti will be horribly bottlenecked by that Pentium right now.
