A bandit skin player's backpack is invisible, making them a little more stealthy, and of course they have the benefit of killing people and taking their gear.

You've posted in the correct section but you should edit the topic title to include the name of the server, increasing the chance of an admin from that server seeing it. If the server has their own forum or TS server it might also be a good idea to try and contact them directly.

That's your CPU struggling to cope with calculating all the zombie AI, not a random lag spike, lol. -
One of the examples Rocket gave of crafting in the standalone at PAX was flashligh + duct tape + weapon, so I'm guessing this will happen in the standalone. I don't think you should magically be able to carry a flashlight and rifle like in Left 4 Dead though.

This is the most probable cause. What are your specs? Are you playing on a laptop? And have you checked your temps after the FPS drop occurs? -
Are you using DayZ Commander?

I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, it could just be a combination of low-ish spec GPU and slow HDD causing bottlenecking but IDK, but by changing your AA setting you're essentially flushing your VRAM and that's why it's fixing it. A quicker and easier way to do this is to hold Shift and tap - and type flush.

It's okay. The CPU is good but the graphics card isn't very good. How much would that cost? Have you considered buying the parts seperately and putting it together yourself? You'd get a much better machine for the same amount of money that way. :)

Go and try swimming fully clothed with a backpack full of weapons and survival gear and then come back and tell us how you got on. :)

Most people tend to avoid the zombies completely TBH. I usually either lead them in to a building then swap my rifle for my hatchet or just lose them.

2Gb 6970 OC here and I get better frames with the 'default' setting. I guess you're running a different version of CCC with the 7XXX though. -
I have no qualms with games like L4D and Battlefield using defibs to bring people back from the dead but IMO it's just really not right for DayZ. Once you're dead, you should be dead.

Fun Fact... In the UK singles chart this song knocked Meat Loaf's I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do that) from the #1 spot. A week later it was bumped from the top spot by Take That's Babe, only to return and reclaim it's spot at #1 a week later. -
It was actually the community's incessant QQ that led to the zombies being nerfed in the first place. xD I agree, they need to be buffed and harder to shake once they're aggro'd.

On default it should autodetect his 2Gb card fine.

You should just get a new one, lol. You should aim for a 3Ghz quad-core CPU, 4Gb 1600Mhz RAM and a 560Ti or better to play DayZ at an enjoyable level.

Wouldn't you essentially need an IR light as powerful as the flood lights they use to light stadiums for it to be of any more worth than a military flashlight? :S

Have you tried playing using ARMA 2: Free? It uses lower resolution textures so you should get higher FPS.
