You need to purchase a new copy of Operation Arrowhead and replace your old key in Steam. Locked before the flame war. -
My point wasn't that it's less powerful on the whole than the FX-4350, more that it may perform worse in DayZ because of the way it's designed.

I'm not actually too sure about how the FX-6300 performs in ArmA/DayZ because of the way its cores are split. You might actually be better off with the FX-4350 as it's a traditional quad-core and ArmA will utilise it better. I'd hold out for advice from someone that's actually run DayZ on an FX-6. It would be worth saving up for a new card too though if you're looking to run on high settings.

No, nothing planned. It's a pain in the arse when a clan horde all the vehicles, but it's almost worth it for the feels when you finally discover their camp, haha.

I find guarding to be the best anti-theft system. This doesn't fit DayZ in any way, shape or form IMO. -

Balota is 'better' than Krastinov airstrip. Balota has a comms tower, 2 hangers, 4 deer stands, and the two industrial buildings and non-enterable building with a military loot spawn very close by; while Krastinov just has the comms tower and 2 hangers. I'm pretty sure it's the increased blood level in DayZ and the fact that 9mm damage was nerfed a bit in an ArmA 2 beta patch. When I first started playing DayZ you could kill someone with a Makorov with one mag.

A modded server with a tonne of barracks at the NE airfield by the sounds of it, lol. I was at the NE airstrip last night and the best thing I found was a couple of MREs. :(

Go in to options > controls and make sure that 'mouse smoothing' is completely disabled. That might help sharpen your mouse input slightly.

I'm not really a fan of the shotties in ArmA, I'd take the Winnie over a traditional shotgun any day.

Indeed, cheating does not make you a hacker. Also, DayZ Commander is the only recommended piece of 3rd party software. Download anything else at your own risk.

Yes. There's no option to pre-order, you haven't paid a penny. Yet for some reason you think you're entitled to constant updates on development when the devs are busy trying to actually finish the game. Please name one other game that has done this. Most announce that they're in development, maybe post a couple of screenshots, and then release a trailer or two as it gets closer to release. -

Indeed. I'll be the first to admit that I'm a massive Intel fanboy, but the FX-8350 is a really strong contender. Yeah, will run fine on medium settings. Install both ArmA games to the SSD if possible. :)
