Agreed, theres just not enough ammo to waste on Zeds now especially when theres Bandits everyhere and the lower damage common guns don't stand a chance against a Bandits high powered rifle. Note, i know theres headshots but the irratic movements of the zombies and the time you need to aim means Bandits have more time to snipe you now. Now to wait for all of 'those' users to post...

Spawned with basic equipment and start my way towards a small settlement with a barn. Get shot from behind 10 seconds later and the guy doesn't even loot my corpse. Why kill someone who is no threat and has no suppplies you need? Or maybe the time a single Zombie broke my leg with 1 hit and my blood being full? Or mouse glitches out and i run off the side of a building. Randomly stand up when leaving a house and aggro 10 Zombies with no weapon. Take your pick.

Zombies have the intelligence to look up and at every angle now? They aren't a SWAT team securing every direction, they are mindles creatures that simply walk around until their next meal runs by. Edit: I think the aggro should be turned down alittle as its hard enough hiding from Bandits as it is!

I like it at times but prefer Peanut Butter but i prefer Marmite to Jam. I would love to see some dedicated PVE servers and for all those that say it would feel too much like a game and kill immersion i say we need to at least test it (and it IS a game). If the PVE servers are constantly flooded and full then it shows alot of people want it. Also even if its 50% of servers become PVE only thats not changing the game its only giving people a choice whether they want to survive or kill. If you join a PVP server you better prepare yourself. It'll also stop people posted complaints about "i was killed with no gear" etc etc as they were taking the risk with a PVP server. It will allow like minded people to play together and isn't that the main reason we play online?

I love the game engine. Its different to all the FPS out there today that just vomit the same shit every year.

I like shooting Zeds in the head...if they didn't move around so irratically. One second his standing there the next he sprints to me left then he walks a little and then sprints AWAY from me then to me right this time. And always seems to be when i take a shot at his head he darts away. I mean Zeds are slow moving targets or running infected right? But when did they develop the ability to 'Matrix' their way around bullets? Or simply zigzag to avoid shots as i thought they were braindead? In all films infected or zombies always just run in a straight line towards their target as they don't care for safety. Now i know this is a game and the zigzaging has been there way before the nerfed guns but at least then i could actually kill a couple before they get to me (i'm not the best shot in the world, i'm the first to admit that, but im not the worst either). Also if its gonna take more shots then have ammo more common then as i find it so hard to find any, or the right type. But that kills immersion right if ammo is so easy to find? It also doesn't make sense that 4-5 shots in the chest with even a 9mm wouldn't kill someone (talking players here). The nerfed guns has made being a bandit easier too as the high powered rifles are still...high powered. While the people they prey on has vastly weaker weapons now, so less risk. It is an Arm2 update i've been told not Dayz update that nerfed the guns. Hopefully it'll get put right soon if only so the Bandits don't have an even better time killing survivors ingame.

Intelligent manner and then you say you find simply saying FRRRRRRRRRRT hilarious? The point to me is not to stoop to their level and be above it all otherwise you will get the dips**s post to you again and again and the decent people will ignore you because your immature. Thats just my opinion. If you want intelligent people answering your posts then post something more intellectual then FRRRRRRRRRRT.

I like the suggestions apart from the last one. Like Nemish says its near death so its gonna be a blur. Seriously if you lost as much blood to count as 3k> then would you be able to even run? No more likely you will be in a coma or in so much pain that even morphine will have little effect. What i would like to see is the ability to grow your own food. Or at least scavenge berries and apples etc. I think i saw a Pumpkin the other day but i couldn't eat it? But i could eat a potentially 'out of date' can of pasta?

I was going to post to this in agreement to the OP but in all honesty? Your all as bad as each other. I read this kind of thing going on all the time on these threads. Someone says they don't like a certain aspect of the game and thinking of quiting (thinking not actually quiting otherwise why post here if you don't want someone to try and convince you otherwise) and the responses they get are always predictable, "Boo Hoo", "Goodbye", "Can i have your stuff?", "Don't let the door hit you on theway out", "another whining virgin". That kind of thing. Then the responses come back at them equally as childish, your own "FRRRRRRRRRRRRT" comments just shows to me your age (mind at least). My advice just ignore dipsh**s who post things not useful or are downright rude for no reason, you'll be a better person for it and they will get bored and walk away as they are getting no attention. As for hackers i have had no problem at all with them so far and been playing for a good 2 weeks now. No matter how good the security is if someone with the right know how wanted to hack it, they could. Just log out if you see anything strange happening. But don't let yourself get mad and quit due to them. If you find a good server with good admin and good security then put it as a favourite and use it above others. If it gets hacked move onto another. The chances of it happening over and over again to you are pretty slim so keep at it. Good luck out there fellow survivor!

Can i make a point about the concern someone made about 'what law?'. From Fallout 3 its the law of the wasteland. Its an idea to try and bring a sense of community to the world and get people to work together (think Megaton). Think about if it was real life. Eventually all those cans of beans will run out (wont respawn obviously). So it would be either to join in with the walkers and eat people or try and grow crops etc. If there is no law and people KOS then theres little chance of a farm being made. The Regulators (or at least how i see it) are trying to bring people together to work together for the better of survival. Instead of fighting over that last can of beans we help each other find/make more food. Its strength in numbers after all. As a side note i think the mod would be brilliant with some sort of crop system and it requires more than 1 person to add in teamwork and a sense of survival than just respawning food. In society today we need law to keep the peace and so there aren't those phycopaths killing everyone with no repercussions. In Dayz there are no laws so... WE ARE THE REPERCUSSION! The first few times i played the game i survived for a long time each time (like 2-3 hours each and for a noob thats long!). Only dieing to walkers a few times and a couple of Bandits the other times. The PVP annoys me to hell. I mean its good as its more sense of urgency and paranoia. But when people kill me and then run off without even looting me or killing me when they just saw me spawn and again no looting i find it very against the spirit of the game. The Regulators are needed (or PVP specific servers) in my opinion.

I was called Regulator in game before noticing this topic. I agree with all the Regulators stand for as its exactly how i wanted to play myself. So consider me joined up if you'll have me. Changed my in game name to Grey Warden now. I often play with Lonewarrior and he introduced me to this 'clan' (i hate the name clan reminds of COD too much). We try to help people as much as we can and will help those who are being shot at by Bandits (if they are unarmed etc). Hopefully you will have me and we can start dishing out some RETRIBUTION!
